  1. Good luck to all and I pray for all teams this season. Heavenly Father, be with our young athletes as they test their physical skills. Let them play well, but fairly. Let competition make them strong, but never hostile. Grant them the strength to best their opponent. Grant them moments to rejoice, but not in the adversity of others. Help them stay safe from injury, both physical and emotional. Help them to learn something that matters once the game is over. Help them remember that sports are just games. If they know victory, allow them to be happy. If they are denied, keep them from envy. If through athletics, they set an example, let it be a good one. In the name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen. #30TeamScott

  2. https://www.aol.com/article/news/2018/08/15/father-accused-of-fatally-beating-man-who-tried-to-enter-bathroom-occupied-by-teen-daughter/23502904/ This is why security is useless. There is no way I could find this father guilty, and I don't think he should have been arrested. He prevented the sexual assault of his daughter.

  7. Iā€™ve checked out Omarosa. On the Apprentice, she claimed another woman called her the N-word. Sounds like her standard accusation. She has a reputation of being a villain. Also, she worked in the office of then VP Al Gore. Goreā€™s former office manager said, ā€œSheā€™s the worst hire we ever madeā€. She was later transferred to Clintonā€™s Commerce Dept. where one of the Supervisors said Omarosa was ā€œunqualified and disruptiveā€ and added, ā€œI had her removedā€. It appears the democrats knew she was a scumbag well before the Repubs found out. Of course the MSM might forget all this derogatory information.......... you think? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omarosa_Manigault_Newman

  8. Because of my career field and some of the assignments I had in the Air Force, I had a Top Secret clearance as well as Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and NATO TS clearances. What a lot of people don't realize is that even if you have the appropriate level of clearance, unless you have a "Need To Know" you still aren't granted access to most classified information. I don't agree with taking everyone's clearances away when the leave government service or the military. Normally if you have a TS clearance it is good for 5 years after you leave the service, at least it was back in 1997 when I retired from the AF. A lot of retired military people go to work for defense contractors and other places that require a TS clearance to work there on certain programs. It costs over 50K to get a TS clearance and that's worth a lot to defense contractors. As you have heard on some of the news commentary, sometimes people are recalled to discuss classified information after they leave the service. I was contacted by the AF on three separate occasions over about a three year period after I retired in 97 and was "asked" to report to 8th AF HQ to share my thoughts about what I knew about certain very high level top secret programs I was involved with ... needless to say I complied with their requests .... That said, as far as Brennan and the others mentioned about having their security clearances removed I agree with that 100% ... because of their actions that in my opinion border on treason, obstruction of justice, lying to congress, conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government and interfere with an election and probably a dozen other crimes .... to be honest, I don't know how Brennan ever qualified for any level of security clearance, much less a TS clearance with his very public open support for communism several years ago ... I had a hard time getting a TS clearance because my mother was born in a communist country (Prague Czechoslovakia) and I had very little information on her side of the family to provide for my application ... it normally takes about 6 months to process a TS clearance application and get the clearance .... mine took almost a year because of my mother's background ...

  11. Soooo...we canā€™t talk about sub varsity games these players have played in, we canā€™t talk about last years game(s), we canā€™t talk about spring football, we canā€™t talk about literally anything in the past (minus the couple times yā€™all brought up 7 on 7). Iā€™m still waiting for you to announce to us what weā€™re allowed to talk about. This the third time Iā€™m now asking.

  16. I understand he is getting 1st team reps...ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦..But other backs are getting 1st team reps as well, to some degree...ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦...So, let's say Ingram gets 12 touches a game, back number 2 gets 10 touches a game, and back number 3 gets 8 touches a game...ā€¦ā€¦...That is 30 for the RB position from 3 guys...ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦...Some games that are close, they get more touches because they play until the end...ā€¦ā€¦...Two or three blowout games, the first two backs get less touches, and backs 3, 4, and 5 get several carries/receptions...ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦.Just a generalization, not going to happen that way exactly, I know.

  17. I understand exactly where you are coming from. I think those are excellent numbers (10 touches per game) for early in the season. But by around the 5th game of the season I think he should be able to start handling more of a load. Maybe 20 touches per game. He has already put on some muscle. They have him listed at 205 lbs. Not sure his weight, but in photos you can definitely see he has added weight. I think 1,000 to 1,200 all purpose yards is realistic. Then he takes over as the feature back next year. They have Watson who is gonna get touches. And Young is a realible back. I watched the Sam Ehlinger media availability yesterday, and he lit up when they mentioned Ingram. I honestly think Ingram breaks out by mid season.

  20. I donā€™t think Ingram is AD obviously. But I think Texas fans would be happy with a JK Dobbins type of freshman season. Texas O-Line is not nearly as good as Ohio Stateā€™s last year, but I think Ingram and Dobbins are very comparable prospects coming outta HS. Dobbins had 1,400 yards rushing, and I donā€™t think Ingram will hit number with Texas offensive line. But what about 170 attempts for 950 yards and 7 TD + another 25 rec for 250 yards and 2 TD? I could honestly see a season like that from what Iā€™m hearing and reading.

  26. Everything I've read so far has been insinuation, and not being specific about anything. Even with the tapes she has leaked so far they're has been nothing to implicate President Trump. https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-campaign-sues-omarosa-2018-8 . She might be in a bad situation if she did sign the nondisclosure agreement. Plus what she might consider to be racist might not be racist at all. I would have to hear exactly what he said about Puerto Rico, and I'm sure he said some hateful things towards the Mayor of San Juan, because of her attack on Trump all the while supplies were rotting in warehouses, because of "Union Contracts". C'mon get the food, clothing, and other essentials to the people. You don't have to have electricity to live, human beings did it up until the 1930's for most parts of the world if not later. Some of the larger cities didn't have it until 150 years ago, so it's a relatively new thing for human beings. I've never heard President Trump say anything racist in the past or the present, while some will say he's been that way even the Vox article presented yesterday was vague, because he has many managers and supervisors who while acting in his name might have been racist, but that doesn't mean he is. Calling some countries stinkhole countries isn't racist. Heck, I used to live in Tulsa, Oklahoma and I used to call it the armpit of America, because there was nothing to do there. I lived in Birmingham, Alabama that has many blights, but it wasn't half as bad as Tulsa. Other than that, it's all I've currently read on the situation. If more comes out, I could change my mind.

  30. Before this is over, Mueller and Rosenstein are really going to be discredited ... reports are surfacing that Strzok, Page, Bruce Ohr, McCabe, Rosenstein and possibly others were "texting" about spying/investigating Trump long before Rosenstein appointed Mueller ... the lid may be about to blow off the Mueller investigation .... the Trump/Russia investigation was all planned as a way to get rid of Trump and it's back firing ....

  31. Well if they start calling calls that they see right in front of them they wouldnā€™t have to worry about verbal abuse, or being one sided for certain teams... not saying thatā€™s itā€™s like that every time but most of the time it is.

  38. No, they'll be run back to the 2 yard line so that Lufkin's offense can take credit for the TDs.

  39. Sorry pal, I don't see any D-I linemen on this list. Lufkin wins 77-0. Longview has negative -50 rushing yards. Haynes King is picked off 5 times, all of them run back for TDs. John King is fired immediately following the game. School board holds emergency meeting the following day and unanimously votes to abandon football program. Lobo Stadium is bulldozed and converted into a graveyard for the criminally insane. AKA is hired by Lufkin ISD's public relations department for half his current salary and no benefits. Trump wins a fourth term in office, relocates nation's capital to Lufkin. Panthers hire Bill Belicheck as quality control assistant. Google deletes all references to Longview Lobo football. The City of Longview is nuked from space.

  41. Tebow had a lot of positive intangibles ... not to mention he was a winner ... and he had a great attitude ... and was a positive role model. He would probably be a special teams player if you asked him to. I would give him a roster spot over a lot of the spoiled prima donnas and anthem kneelers you see today ... Tebow would be an asset on any sports team ... and he wasn't that bad a passer ...
