Evidently the creator of this meme doesn't realize that the author of the article is implying generated electricity and not chemical reaction activated electricity. As anyone knows even with a battery they die eventually. There isn't a single battery that has the ability to generate electricity forever much less more than two or three weeks when in continual use. While some can be recharged, they still fail to perform for long periods of time.2 points

Argyle played them on a cold rainy night and they were a little banged up. Their qb Kobe Savage(remember that name) is Mr. Athlete on offense and defense......also will be the fastest on the field. Vershaud Richardson(DE/OLB/Sr. 6-4, 225) will cause problems for every team.....you can write his name down too. They have a stable of excellent RB's and just speed to burn and athletes all over the field on both sides of the ball. It was one of those games where Argyle was seriously challenged.....seriously. I just don't think Kennedale......as good as their pedigree has been over the years and even this season.......will be able to overcome a healthy Paris Wildcats team this week.2 points

We are home grown, we have had a couple of young kids leave and go to jasper, but rarely do we get new kids. One of our best weapons is our coaching staff, these guys are top notch!2 points

If the Dawgs make it Jerry’s house, I will take coach Surratt and Preston over any team and that includes the impossible to beat Argyle Eagles. God Bless coaches, players, and fans. Lets Go Dawgs!!!!!!!2 points

There is always a chance. Lou Holtz used to say that you dont have to be the best team all year...just the best team for 3 hours. With that said...Carthage BIG.2 points

Pulling for Gilmer, East Texas needs Gilmer to be good, it just makes for better football.2 points

Until Mexico starts cooperating with us in stopping illegal invasion, we shouldn't be "rewarding" them with this sort of thing ... I don't care if they built a clone of Jerruh World to play in ... no border control, no NFL football, or anything else like it ....2 points

Yeah I could see them going after Graham Harrell (UNT OC) or Eric Morris at UIW. Both have Texas ties and are up and comers.1 point

I really hope someone out there advertises this to the masses. Cause if I get there early, have a nice seat on the 50 and some late 'bold' person tries to accuse me of taking their seat ...we're gonna have some issues. lol1 point

It's pretty fun watching BJ Foster play and thinking about what he can do going forward. Guy is blitzing one play, rushing the passer off the edge the next, and then dropping in coverage at Safety. Stud.1 point

very very blessed to have such good young men that want on it on their own. I could go on and on about those 2....But I won't. One of them has had return contact from the University of Kentucky already and we pray more to come. The other will be starting to his track to contacts Next season. The older one is currently ranked 17th in the nation by youth1. for the class of 2023. Hoping we break the top 10 in Dec with his new improved numbers.1 point

Our freshman group is solid. Been a great group of kids since they was in TeeBall. Looking forward to seeing how they grow and come out at the Varsity level. RB Williams and QB Bryant are studs.1 point

Was planning to go to Winona vs CC but might come to this one instead.1 point

if this game was in our preview I'd tell you to read the website...(gotta have those clicks) But its not so I'm taking Lufkin by 13....Lufkin is the rare team that's better away from home...Lone Star's offense isn't great and eventually Lufkin's offense cracks the code on the Lone Star D1 point

I apologize if this has already been mentioned throughout the thread, but who will the winner of this game get in the 3rd round? I know nothing about Winona, but if they can stop the run, then they can win. I couldn't judge CC by the Newton game that i watch just because Newton was head and shoulders better in every aspect of the game, but they did get second, therefore I can't really judge them off that game. Rooting for you guys, CorriganCamden09. I'm actually good friends with Chase Ford. He was the best man for my sisters husband in their wedding. Being an ex-NFL player, he's so humble and down to earth.1 point

Splendora's schedule isn't great but they were battle tested the last two years in a really good 5A district that had teams like Crosby, New Caney, Humble Kingwood Park etc....1 point

first round playoff games aren't demand games....so no John Tyler doesn't owe Lufkin a return game.....the site would be negotiated out1 point

Splendora has been to playoffs numerous times in school history. This is first time to win a playoff game. I myself played in 2 playoff games for Splendora in the 90’s. This game is big deal to this community and the players. They are playing with a huge high. They have nothing to loose and all but respect to gain. This game will be a true test to see where we really stand. I know nothing about van, but what I see on max preps videos. Do believe the cats have a shot to pull this off. They have been underdogs for last few years, so that is nothing new to them. Shultz really impressed me this year by adopting a totally new offensive scheme this season from the wing t to a rpo. The rpo really caters to his athletes. Qb over 1600 pass yds and three backs over 1000 total yards. Special teams have been superior also.1 point

Lorena should be big favorite. I think L-E will be more athletic as a team, and if they can just cut down on penalties and turnovers this game won't be decided until fourth quarter. If L-E continues to have turnovers it could be a blowout, but the same can be said if Lorena turns the ball over.1 point

Little to no 2 way players used. A couple of standout hitters and tacklers on the defense but the offence has no particular skill players you can key on except the QB as mentioned earlier. No weaknesses on the team... Even the kicking game is good.1 point

If Bowie pulls this off, Coach May should be getting a call from Jerry Jones.1 point

Sounds like a pretty small venue for a 6A playoff game. How did they get Home field Advantage (less than 10 miles away.). What happened to Neutral site games?1 point

Gotta stop him from running and throwing.... He has an arm and has great accuracy with good wide receivers but can escape presser with his legs also1 point

For those that just scoredboard watch, Mineola has a back that will likely be one of the best if not the best back Jefferson will face this season. Just throwing that out there.1 point
