  1. What were you debating Wet? What exactly were you comparing? The comment of yours that I questioned had nothing to do with a comparison. You truly seem bothered by the fact that Texas had a few guys get higher ratings. As I've said before, it really seems to bother you personally anytime anything positive happens for Texas.

  2. You have to understand that the Texas season didn't go the way they were predicting/hoping it would and the Georgia win really broke them down. The whole month of December aggie boards were filled with topic after topic talking about how Georgia would "destroy the sips", "Georgia will show them what big boy SEC football is about" "Texas is soft", and on and on. Nick was laughing when some on here said Texas matches up with Georgia and wetsu said Texas's front 7 would be like a JV compared to what Georgia had faced in the great SEC. Deep down they know what this means going forward into this year as far as recruiting and such. All these 2020 guys are talking about is Texas. They fact they have a top 5 class and instead of enjoying it all that's being talked about is Texas's class and crying about a few guys that got bumps You'll continue to see this kind of stuff going forward, hell I've already seen screen shots of them saying "just wait until September, LSU will destroy them and they'll see what SEC is all about! Georgia wasn't interested in that game!" Rinse, repeat. They bash Herman about the stuff he does and being immature but let's not forget the almighty Jimbo and the whole Winston affair, not to mention just a little over a year ago when Jimbo's little-man syndrome kicked in yelling at FSU fans to "Bring your @$$ down here and say that!"

  5. OMG now that's laughable...I can say this. many times a player won't get but 1 offer or only a couple offers if he/she is set on a place early on. no reason for other schools to be spending their time (that is a commodity) on a player there is no chance in getting.

  6. Not sure what all you just said. And I'm not trying to be the grammar police, but a few appropriately placed periods and commas could really help the rest of us understand this post and maybe even help us make a reply.

  7. You do realize that a lot of a&m commits got ratings bumps to right? Cupp and Leal were bumped to 5*'s, yet all your pals on the 247 board did was ### and moan about Texas's class instead enjoying having a top 5 class. I'll give you the edge at TE, DL, and DB for this class but that's it. LB isn't even close and neither is WR. And don't say OL because 1 stud plus a couple of 2nd/3rd tier options won't do it. Amazing, yet entertaining, how the ratings bump and Bru transfer has set off the a&m fan base.

  8. No but his buyout is $15M. Texas can get the money but I don’t think they will especially with the new arena being built. If you make a change might as well wait until you have the new arena as an incentive for a new coach.

  9. #1. I’m not a republican, I’m a conservative. #2. Conservatives, by nature, believe in individualism. Liberals are the ones who like to group people together based on race, religion, ethnicity, sexual preferences, etc., which is racism at its worst. 3. Lump all you want. You fit right in with a bunch of lumps.

  10. So you’re saying that all republicans are racists? Now to be clear, are you referring to just registered republicans, or just people who vote republican? What about libertarians who occasionally vote republican? Or democrats who “gasp!” voted for Trump? Your statement IS RACIST!

  14. But that's the thing, he was asked about Alabama's team, and focused on one player in particular, that wasn't even expected to play against his team in the playoff.

  15. Fox should run a disclaimer at the bottom of all his shows disavowing responsibility for the accuracy of any of his left wing opinionated rants/slants .... The one person on Fox News that really gets under my skin is Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday ... He constantly questions conservatives that appears on that show from a left wing slanted point of view while lobbing softballs at liberal guests ... He tries to conceal his true libtard colors, but he doesn't do a very good job of it ...

  16. and so back to the original question...Kurt should definitely be given a chance...more time. He was a big part of his brother, Jeff's staff for a long, long time and was a major part of the continuity of the success. I think he is a very good coach. I'm not sure what all he has been able to put together on his staff, but no matter what, it takes time to change a entire program...especially from the floor up at the very large school district like Tyler. You would have to change mindsets, work habits, expectations, and everything. You have to be given the time to find out what you do both good and bad...so that you can be getting better each day as a coach to help your program (kids) and other coaches get better each day/week. It's tough.

  17. A young Arkansan boy goes off to college. Half way through the semester, having foolishly squandered all of his money on his girlfriend, he calls home. "Dad," he says, "You won't believe what modern education is developing! They actually have a program here at Hendrix that will teach our dog, Ole' Blue how to talk!" "That's amazing," his Dad says. "How do I get Ole' Blue in that program?" "Just send him over here with $1,000" the young Arkie says "and I'll get him in the course." So, his Father sends the dog and $1,000. About two-thirds of the way through the semester, the money again runs out. The boy calls home. "So how's Ole' Blue doing son?" his Father asks. "Awesome, Dad, he's talking up a storm," he says, "but you just won't >believe this -- they've had such good results they have started to teach the animals how to read!" "Read!?" says his Father, "No kidding! How do we get Blue in that program?" "Just send $2,500, I'll get him in the class." The money promptly arrives. The Arkie and his girlfriend are able to buy enough marijuana to last the whole semester. But our hero has a problem. At the end of the year, his Father will find out the dog can neither talk, nor read. Even though he was always pretty much able to lie his way out of trouble, the Arkie asked his girlfriend to help him think of a really good lie to tell his Dad. She very quickly came up with a plan for him. So she has him shoot the dog. When he arrives home at the end of the year, his Father is all excited. "Where's Ole' Blue? I just can't wait to see him read something and talk!" "Dad," the boy says, "I have some grim news. Yesterday morning, just before we left to drive home, Ole' Blue was in the living room, kicked back in the recliner, reading the Wall Street Journal, like he usually does". "Then Ole' Blue turned to me and asked, so, is your Daddy still messing around with that little redhead who lives down the street?" The Father went white and exclaimed, "I hope you shot that lying damn dog before he talks to your Mother!" "I sure did, Dad!" "That's my boy!" The kid married his girlfriend, they both went on to law school in Fayetteville , he became Governor of Arkansas and President of the United States , and you already know what a lying ##### his girlfriend turned out to be..

  18. I still wouldn’t even remotely trade classes with Texas. I think several of your class got laughable bumps in the rankings. guys like Tyler Owens and Hoofkin who have essentially not one noteable power 5 offer other than Texas (Hoofkin had auburn but that’s it) and see tremendous jumps in the rankings in the once Texas showed interest. You are not a 5/high 4star safety and your two best offers are Texas and Baylor. I’m sorry but it’s laughable that the rankings think they know better than the offer list of schools. There are 3 stars with offers from all the big boys and then high 4 stars with offers from like 2 decent programs. I’ll give you a hint when the rankings jumped up for them and who they committed to when it happen.
