Just thankful it is over and done with. You cannot hold a school or program responsible for the action of one student when it did not happen under a teacher or coaches watch. (Off campus). I hate this happened to the young lady and hope and pray she can heal from all of this.

After watching his interview this morning, I would have to agree with this statement. If fact he let it be know that they weren't just looking for "conservative" places to eat, but actually looking for places that did NOT politicize everyone and everything. They just want a place where people can eat or shop without having to hear the loony tuners whining about the unfairness of their lives. Statistically speaking, there's never been a LV RB that has the YPC that Meredith has put up this far. He put up huge, I want to say record numbers, while at Judson and I know he put up record numbers as a freshmen. Then puts up 650 yards and 12 TD's as sophomore this past year while sharing carries with several others. Yall remember that KR he had in the semis vs Tascosa? That's Meredith in a nutshell. He's about to explode. Judson has been producing some solid backs lately. Meredith..that Freshmen RB Taylor can play....then they have another one who'll be in 8th grade this year, last name Nelson. He's a beast. Meredith getting alot of attention right now and rightfully so. Nah, it's over. It's worth mentioning that the judge presiding over the case is an obama appointee. A reasonable person could assume, given the sorts of things in the news all over the country over the last year or so, that if an obama judge essentially rules the case against cisd was without merit, the odds of faring any better going forward would be slim. It's not like they can judge shop on the west coast or hawaii to find a sympathetic judge who doesn't mind ignoring the law.

A lower court Judges dismissal standing does not necessarily make this case over, far from it, The Appellate court has an historical way of looking at evidence in a far broader picture and more open light than most Lower court Judges.The School might want to keep attorneys on retainer.

I believe the motion against the school was that they were privy to pics being distributed and viewed on school grounds and made no reasonable effort to stop the action.

That was my thinking too. I can see him coming back as a Tight Ends coach, but not to play. I doubt if he has more than 300 yards receiving and over 3 touchdowns next year. That's if he makes the team. Rico is done, but I like the other three young tight ends. I just don't see a need for him, and I don't see a Super Bowl for Dallas next year.
