Meh... Charlie Strong era. He was way over his head at Texas. I think he's a good coach, but Texas was just too big for him. It was evident so many times when the camera panned to his face during a big time moment of a game, and he looked lost. Watching him a few times at USF, and he is a different person on the sideline of those games.3 points

I’d want UT to riot, storm the NCAA headquarters and burn it down. Give me absolute chaos over the NCAA.2 points

I know @Stoney and @ETXfan16 that's why these stories over the last week worry me for Texas. I suspect something bad coming down the pike for McCoy's request and then there will be a total meltdown based on all these other yahoos getting their waivers approved.2 points

I don't know what Arizona could have done differently, but they have definitely lost value on Rosen. Coach GQ better get it right, and quickly. He needs to draft some quality offensive linemen. The first reach was Ferrell at 4 for the Raiders Daniel Jones was a major reach at 6. 17 would have made more sense. I realize he is a pro style QB and may not have lasted past Miami. With the way the draft has played out, there is plenty of safety and WR talent going into the 2nd round. Someone worth the pick should fall to the Cowboys.1 point

From Jake Trotter: Two Iowa tight ends have gone before a single player from the entire Pac-12. Ouch.1 point

Maybe in a few minutes we can talk about where that blank check I just mentioned put us in terms of debt. Do you really want to go there? Because it’s common knowledge Obama was a media darling. This is not disputable in any shape or form.1 point

I don’t watch much Fox News, which is why I come to the conclusions I do. However, I listen to tons of talk radio. Most of talk radio I listen to is pretty balanced. Some way more supportive of facts surrounding Trumps presidency than your run of the mill MSNBC or CNN. Those guys have made a joke of themselves.1 point

Well, The big difference between the two presidents is that one had the media in his corner, and the other one is constantly attacked by the majority of media outlets in this country. Obama was given a blank check and all the media support in the world. Trump has not been given the same. Obama could do no wrong, Trump can’t win for losing. There really is no comparison1 point

I’m embarrassed for our country and our constitution. Not sure how we got to the point where a duly elected president can be put through the ringer while his electorate just sits back and watches. I honestly believe we will see a red wrath in 2020.1 point

Yeah Foster has always been considerably larger than Judson and Forest Park. Think a big reason for that has been the GT program. Not sure how much they'll lose to Forest Park...they'll still have basically 3 elementary schools feeding into it. But no doubt Ware boundary is a talent hotbed. That's a plus for FPMS. Judson will probably win city in 8th grade with that rediculous offense they'll have..but it's gonna be tough on them vs FPMS and Foster for years to come.1 point

@CoachPelvisPresley I could have sworn I seen something on the internets about the NCAA’s newer, more lenient take on player transfers. There’s a horrible double standard here. QBs can transfer and get immediate eligibility because of a case of Martellhurt, but a no name lineman or backup TE can’t? That’s total Martell. All players are equal to the NCAA, it’s just that some players are a little more equal. Let the kids be able to transfer and be eligible wherever they wind up.1 point

I hope it turns out good for LE because I heard he wasn't even the top one for some of the guys on the committee ! He was fourth on one of the list.1 point

Former Longhorn and one of my favorites Brian Robison officially retired today. What an awesome high energy player and an even better guy.1 point

LSU's defense will be a challenge. They were missing a lot of starters at the end of last season, but they'll be full go against Texas. On the flip side I like the Texas defense and Orlando against that offense. @ Iowa State late in the year wont be fun.1 point

Herman also went conservative and took his foot off the gas in a couple games that ended up being close matches too. Don’t look for that to happen this year.1 point

Sometimes the people at the top of school district need to put their own personal agendas aside, hire someone that will to come in a build a program. Give that person full support to do what is necessary to get the program going. There is no better teacher of life then sports especially the game of football.1 point
