@Lobo97 Bo is hands down the greatest athlete since the 1980s. I would have loved to have seen what he coulda done if he had concentrated solely on baseball or football. I can’t think of too many players in baseball who had his strength and speed. Football, he was just a man among boys.

I feel like Best Player should be, 'Best Player by Position'. There are guys that absolutely dominated in the trenches, but will never get consideration as they don't have the 'stats'. There are guys that shut down the field defensively (like Deion Sanders), but don't have the 'stats'. As it is, I chose Bo because of how unstoppable he was. He didn't have the total yards most of the other backs did, but he also didn't have the carries they did either. He did, however, post a 6.6 ypc avg for his collegiate career. My #2 is Vince Young. As much as I wanted to list '05 Texas as my best team, it's hard to argue against '95 Nebraska. They avg'd over 50 ppg. They played 4 Top 10 ranked teams, and the closest any one of them played them was 23 points. '05 Texas would be my #2. As much as I hate OU, it's hard to argue against the dynasty they had in the '50's. 47 straight victories, 27 by shutout. I don't have Bama listed here for the same reason I don't have Saban listed as my Best Coach...because I think Bama has benefited from a few misfortunes of others. As for Heisman, I feel like that should be the easiest one on this list. No one has ever had the dominant season (at their respective position) Barry Sanders did in 1988. Over 2800 yards rushing, 44 TD's, and avg'd nearly 8 ypc. Oh, and only 13 TEAMS finished with more rushing yards than he did that season.

His senior yr alone he rushed for over 900 yards and threw for 4600 with 50 td's and 6 ints. Not to mention his dad was a former MLB player.
