Don't mistake that I don't love me some Tiger football. I have bleed Tiger blood fore over 40 years. But; These Tigers will not make the playoffs. They play a defense designed to go against a spread offense. And never adjust. They will not stop anyone that predominantly runs the ball. Or a spread for that matter. Ore City has a chance to beat them this year. Our Defensive line couldn't tackle my Mother, and she's in a wheel chair. Our offense is offensive. No one, I mean no one on that team can block, much less hold one, without "holding" them"! There are some great athletes on this team, but they have found out they cannot do their thing consistently, without help from the line. What I saw last night was a bunch of lazy kids, with zero enthusiasm, getting pieved cause someone smaller makes him look like a tub of soft margarine. They have a chance maybe to win two more games. That's it. Cause Maw don't want a coach that may touch, or chew out her lazy undisciplined kids. Sorry D'field fans. Just my humble opinion.

The defense didn’t play bad by any means, the play calling on offense on short yardage and special teams kept OSU in the game

I really want to go this route or something similar....something like 49-35. I dunno....I just think Meredith is really about to take off and he's up against a Rockwall defense that needs alot of work. He ran for 191 vs that WM defensive front. This was also one of my main points coming into this year about not having Kamden....the production that Meredith was gonna put up at RB was gonna make up for a good chunk of what Perry provided as a WR. I also see Haynes and the WRs/TEs having a good game. I think we make enough stops on defense for two score game. Jaxon Smith will get his yards but I don't see much happening for anyone else on their offense in this game.

No matter the opponent’s record, JT hasn’t been competitive one bit. Maybe with Horn a bit but besides that, Uck. I think T High’s defense steps up and brings home the W.

Exactly!! And Leonard played in 2012 and 2013. Look at Marcus Williams on our OL last year. Went to TCU and was the only one on our OL to go FBS. He was not our best OL. BUT he was 6'7 290 and a great camper.

Take it easy on em....he doesnt understand this stuff. I've seen dudes get recruited solely based on size and the fact they ran a fast 40 at a camp. Neither have anything to do with actual talent btw. But Dorian Leonard and Chris Kessler being better than Kamden Perry and JK Martin because they went FBS is the most rediculous thing I've ever heard in my life.

Impressive win to be honest...that was a very good football team they pretty much dominated.. Longviews offensive line pushed that highly accoladed defense around. That was my biggest take from game. Haynes king played well also! Defense really is good this year! Just every week does their job. Good job Lobos!

Alto improved to 4-0 by bullying Garrison 26-7. The Mean Sting defense held the Bulldogs (1-2) to just three first downs in the game. The Bulldog score came on a short-field possession that was the result of a Yellowjacket turnover. Alto led 19-7 at halftime, with both defenses dominating in the second half. Alto will be back on the road next week, when a journey to Corrigan-Camden is on tap. I'll be waiting for a kirtfalcon classic of "Game was closer than the score was, refs blew calls, yada yada" Alto dominated this game. Only reason Garrison scored was because Alto turnover gave them good field position. Alto had 4 turnovers and still dominated this game. Garrison 35 yards of offense.

It’s Lone Star and HP right now as the heavy favorites. If the Pack dominate district and stay healthy, maybe we’ll have a chance to make it to at least the 3rd or 4th round. JT needs to find a offense, but they should still make the playoffs in a weak district with Poteet struggling. I’m looking forward to the game against Thigh and North. I hope Texas high wins the district. I do agree on the region too, as of right now it seems like a down year with district 6 being the best with three 3-0 teams. HP and Lancaster may have something to say about that. Timberview is another team to watch out for. I think they made the third round last season. I’m just looking forward to district. The first few weeks should give us a lot of answers about several of these teams. But I think LS and HP are the real deal this year and are probably better than last season.
