And courage is not a strong suit, in the cult of personality that it now exists as... https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/gop-presidential-hopeful-slams-republican-senators-absolute-chickenst-050201920.html GOP presidential hopeful slams Republican senators: 'Absolute chickens**t' Stephen Proctor Yahoo EntertainmentFebruary 5, 2020, 11:02 PM CST 0:23 2:08 'Bachelor' Peter Weber sends drama queens home: 'Enough is enough' Former GOP congressman and current presidential candidate Joe Walsh joined Hardball With Chris Matthews Wednesday night where he railed against Senate Republicans following the acquittal of President Trump in the impeachment trial earlier in the day. Trump was acquitted on Article I: Abuse of Power by a vote of 52-48, with Mitt Romney (R-Ut.) being the only Republican to vote to convict. The vote on Article II: Obstruction of Congress was a strict party-line vote. “Most of the American people understand that we didn’t have a trial, we didn’t have a fair trial,” Walsh said, adding, “But most every single Senate Republican today outside of Mitt Romney was an absolute chicken s**t.” Since the trial, several Republicans have said Trump’s behavior that led to the impeachment was shameful and inappropriate, but were unwilling to vote to convict, and Walsh believes he knows why. “They’re scared to death, Chris, of his voters. They don’t want to lose his voters,” Walsh said. “They know what Trump did was wrong, and for them to come out today and say it was inappropriate, Chris, they didn’t have the courage to say that a month or two ago.” Walsh, who was a vocal supporter of Trump in 2016, also said he’s been speaking with Republican voters in Iowa and New Hampshire, two states that did not cancel the Republican Primary, and now has a grim view of his party as a whole. “My party is a cult, I mean that. It’s not a political party,” Walsh said. “Six or seven years ago, you and I are talking about issues, and we’re debating and fighting issues. Now it’s all about where you are on Trump, and if you don’t kiss this guy’s feet every single day, you’re in real trouble politically.” But Walsh heaped praise on Romney for being the only Republican senator to split with his party and vote to convict Trump. In an emotional speech, Romney invoked his religion and his conscience to explain his vote to convict. With his vote, Romney became the first senator ever to vote to convict a president of his own party. “Mitt Romney … how often in American history do we see a politician actually do the principled thing and put country first?,” Walsh asked. “It’s an amazing thing.”

If the GOP had a 50/50 split you can bet he would join the dimwits because he is a snake in the grass just like jumpin Jim Jefford was

A preseason loss isn’t the worst thing in the world. We went 4 rounds deep with a 4-6 team in 2013. The main thing is being healthy and ready when district comes.

By the time district rolls around, I feel we'll be more than fine. Really happy we have Temple and West Monroe to really test us before district starts (not that Marshall and Lee won't in their own ways). Opening district with West and East should give our boys plenty of time to prepare for Hp's visit to Lobo. Replacing Haynes is obviously #1 on the list. But with the receiving crew we have coming back, and Meredith in the back field, we'll be pretty solid offensively I feel.

I like the moxie. You don’t get better playing down....same approach as trying to schedule the State Champs. I’m digging the aggressive vibe.

You forgot to put Fairfield in top 10 and Pottsboro should be #2. You along with all the other guys that do rankings rank wall way way way to high every season. West Texas football in 3A is never good enough to sniff reg 3 or now reg2. Also never put a reg 4 team in top 10 ever

I'm thinking that they're wanting to decrease their population due to Trumps tariffs hitting them in the gut so hard. This is just another reason to never vote Socialist/Communist/Democrat. Instead of using firing squads they're using disease warfare against their own people.

Haynes doesn’t haven’t to come in and be a world beater by himself. If he can just be consistent for four quarters that would make a lot of Aggie fans happy. It’s been a while since we’ve had a QB we could say that about.

I think they would. Since he was a first round draft pick he will have a 5th year option unlike Dak. The CBA Agreement is going to be a difficult one. It expires in 2021, and the owners are wanting a 17 game season. I don't see why. I think 16 is enough. Will the franchise tag still be around ? I've heard the Cowboys want to place Dak under that. If anyone deserves the big bucks it's Mr. Mahomes. He would be worth a 10 year - $450 million contract. I know that sounds like a lot, but back end it, and pay him a big signing bonus that can be prorated. The Chiefs are going to have to make that decision. They have a couple of more years that they don't have to, just as with Houston and Watson. If I were Jerry I'd franchise tag Dak for the next two years, and see what happens with the CBA.

He doesn't mention who has caused this, but it rhymes with DUMP. Read the article or at least look at the cool movie posters. You're welcome! https://www.yahoo.com/huffpost/harrison-ford-us-leadership-095232005.html Politics Harrison Ford: America Has Lost Its Moral Leadership And Credibility Ed Mazza HuffPostFebruary 6, 2020, 3:52 AM CST Screen icon Harrison Ford lamented on Wednesday the United States’ lack of moral leadership in the world, particularly on issues of immigration and climate change. “We’re facing some real pressing issues in America and we’re working hard to sort them out,” he said, calling U.S. immigration policy “ludicrous” and saying the nation needs “complete reform.” “We need to invite people into the country,” he said. “Not keep them out. This is the history of America, it depends on immigration.” The “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones” star didn’t mention President Donald Trump specifically as he spoke in Mexico City to promote his new film, “The Call Of The Wild.” But he said the nation’s role in the world has changed ― and not for the better. “Our position in the world is tenuous because of our lack of moral leadership, basically,” he said. “We lost some of our credibility in the world and we are anxious to regain it.” Ford, who has long been active on climate issues, also spoke about political attacks against science. “Science is being denigrated,” he said. “Science is being ridiculed by people in ideological campgrounds. They are refusing the wisdom, the discipline of science in favor of a political point of view and that has to stop.” Ford also applauded younger people, such as climate activist Greta Thunberg, for their leadership on the issue. “I consider the threat of the natural world as the single biggest threat to humanity,” he said. Ford has called out science deniers in the past. Prior to the 2018 midterm election, he urged voters to “stop giving power to people who don’t believe in science or worse than that, pretend they don’t believe in science for their own self-interest.” Ford also shared a little movie news: He said a fifth Indiana Jones movie was moving closer to fruition, noting the filmmakers were “close” to having a script ready. It doesn't matter. Once they take the low road, no respect is deserved and none given. She chose the low road, and ignoring her is the best thing President Trump could do. He did not attack her, Nadler, or Shiff during the SOTU. He took the high road, and ignored them. They are the one's that should apologize for their actions. Until they do, they have lost credibility and do not deserve to be recognized. They are chaff.

We have never been one's that have sat on the fence as you have said you do. We have chosen a conservative approach to politics. JETT, I will ask you the same question that I did Danny Zuco. If someone accused you of a crime you did not commit or lied about you to your family and friends. Would you shake their hand ? Danny said he would. I honestly can't say I could. I would simply walk away. They caused damage in others eyes and minds. The accusations against President Trump were not confirmed, and yes, I will defend him on the Ukraine aspect. He was never friends to my knowledge with Joe Biden or Hunter. If he was, he might have looked the other way when it came to their dealings in the Ukraine, but that is pure speculation on my part. He wasn't, and simply requested that the investigation be reopened. It wasn't. Move forward and onward.

Then you must not be in the education business, because the government has ALWAYS been in the insurance business, and it has never been a friend to the educational field. You know, I know that these businesses work together so that there is very little difference in insurance plans, so they all cost the same. If you don't believe that, then I am sure you also would love my beach front property just east of Lufkin in East Texas. There has to be rules and regulations, just not operations by the governments. Because even 20 years ago, the government regulate insurance companies--the state only allows certain companies to practice inside the state--you can't go get health insurance in Louisiana if you live in Texas. But then again, I would have figured ya'll would know things like that. Maybe not?

The fact that he didn't shake the VP's hand before the speech either kind of blows your explanation away. He was already turning away from her when she awkwardly shot her hand partially out and pulled it back. The fact that he did shake both of their hands after the speech also discredits your claim he purposely snubbed her at that point. Either way, nothing justifies her actions last night ....
