  1. My son Craig and I signed an agreement to begin broadcasting our local sports talk shows coast-to-coast on SicEm365.com and it will also be available on our homepage of Smoaky.com. Although the website is a Baylor athletics based site, we WILL be keeping the same philosophy I've had since I began in radio in 1990. And, High School Football will be a major part of what we do, yes, there will be coverage of Baylor, everything-college football, Cowboys, Rangers, the topics of the day. But, we have been given a green light on being wide open with our high school coverage. That will include Greater-East and Central Texas. The show every weekday between 3:00pm-6:00pm is available on the SicEm365 App and online at https://sicem365.com/live.

  4. David and Craig Smoak Live Coast-to-Coast on SicEm365.com and Smoaky.com SICEM365 OWNERSHIP ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF SICEM365 RADIO By SicEm365 Staff March 23, 2020 9.7k 150 Tweet Share (571) WACO, Tex. (March 23, 2020)—SicEm365.com, the leading Baylor sports, recruiting, and fan engagement site, is launching the next level of coverage for members and fans alike with SicEm365 Radio. Leveraging the power of Internet radio and the SicEm365.com website, this new dimension of their fan-favorite coverage is scheduled to launch April 6, 2020. To launch SicEm365 Radio, the SicEm365 ownership team of Ashley Hodge, Brian Ethridge and Colt Barber have hired David Smoak, Craig Smoak, and Paul Catalina, formerly of ESPN 1660 Central Texas, to anchor the live programming “We know times are uncertain right now, but what we are certain of at SicEm365, is that we are going to provide Baylor fans and high school football fans with the best coverage anywhere of games, recruiting, coaches, and more,” said SicEm365.com co-owner Brian Ethridge. “There will be no better place than SicEm365.com and SicEm365 Radio to get your Baylor and high school sports information, and we couldn’t be more excited to have David, Craig, and Paul joining the team.” SicEm365 Radio will bring in a new, enhanced era of coverage for fans in Central Texas and around the country, powered by the SicEm365.com platform. “When I arrived in Waco in 2010, I thought I wouldn’t be around more than a year. But Waco has become my home, and I’m thrilled that it will remain my home. With SicEm365 Radio, I’ll be able to bring the same passion, enthusiasm and professionalism to SicEm365.com as I have through my 38-year career covering sports at all levels. I can’t wait to continue our thorough coverage of Baylor Athletics, but also high school programs as well,” said David Smoak. Like SicEm365.com’s message boards and published content, SicEm365 Radio will have content that is both free for all access and premium, subscription-only content. “We have built up a fan community that is passionate about Baylor sports as well as recruiting and high school sports all over Texas. From a virtual board where fans can come together, to weekly recruiting chats, to our first-to-know Bear Signal text notifications, we have brought Baylor fans what they want to see as we’ve cheered the Bears to new heights the last several years,” said Colt Barber, co-owner and Editor in Chief of SicEm365.com. “With the addition of David, Craig, and Paul, we are now able to bring our community the next level of coverage—radio.” The Smoaks and Catalina are well-known around Central Texas and in high school football circles across the state and will be an invaluable addition to the SicEm365 team following their departure from the traditional sports radio format. “I’m super excited to join SicEm365. When one door closes, another opens. I know we all look forward to taking the site to another level. I can’t wait to get started,” said Paul Catalina. Founded in 2016, SicEm365.com has rapidly grown to be the largest Baylor sports and recruiting site on the Internet. With more than 27,000 people in the message board community, the site provides coverage of all sports at Baylor, recruiting across Texas and beyond, and hosts a tailgate at Brazos Parking for each home football game. “I’ve seen first-hand what an incredible community SicEm365 has grown into the last few years,” said Craig Smoak, who started providing content for the site as a contributor in 2018. “I’m ecstatic to be a full-time member of the team and look forward to reaching new heights with what this site can become and provide to fans.” The radio show will be streamed live directly on SicEm365. In addition, the show will be available live on multiple social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. To become a part of the SicEm365.com community, visit www.sicem365.com. Message boards and stories are available for all fans. Subscribers have access to a premium message board, content, and additional features. SicEm365 can also be found on Facebook and Twitter. 7. I will explain it for your edification. If a person ’s on a Post, But does not refute it, one can rationalize that they have no retort. I can see ing on a Post and replying with a rational response. One thinks the post is full of and responds why. But when someone only ’s a Post, but doesn’t respond, that person has lost the discussion. Does that clear it up, or are you still confused? I don’t ever remember ing one and not replying. I’m not sure I’ve ever ed a post. If I did, and didn’t respond, I lost. A prime example is CarthDawg’s original post. Barry & Jett put ’s on it, but no post as to why. Of course that was done in anonymity, but now that names are attached, they’ve been exposed as unable to refute what CarthDawg said, even though they must not have liked it. Now that names are attached, losers are exposed.

You’ve backed them in a corner and they have no defense except a poo emoji. Well done CarthDawg, well done.

  13. I work for Christus....who is giving us daily updates from corporate and the CDC. And most of y'all know what a huge sports fan I am..... I'm really struggling. But everything we are hearing..... this is still just getting started according to virologists. We are still in the EARLY stages. 532 deaths in the US.... seems like a small number until it's someone you know/love. It was just 130 just a week ago. The growth is expected to be exponential. That's scary. Esp when we have large swaths of the population not heeding the warnings and precautions. We have no idea how many ppl are walking around infected and not even know it. They are saying 8-10 weeks before we see this slow down. That's late May/early June. And a downward trend coupled with no idea where the infection count is at that point (and the death toll) still won't be a green light for UIL, NBA, NHL, or MLB to resume. How late can they wait to finish those seasons? Does the late finish affect the 2020-2021 season? It's a mess. But TBH.... my great love for sports pales in comparison to how I feel about this. I'm a healthcare worker.... and if we can prevent ONE SINGLE DEATH by putting life on hold.... it's worth it. And we all would probably agree it is saving MUCH more than 1. Stay safe.... stay healthy.

  15. I personally have not heard too much other than the fact that, on the surface, the profile looks very similar to the road that was just traveled down with Drennon. At least it cannot get any worse than it already was. Just hope that he can get Hallsville to be "competitive" again. I will buy my season tickets again and will be there when I can cheering the team on.

  17. It's not his economy or Obama's economy now. It's the Wuhan virus economy. I mean exactly what I stated. One thing I won't do is lie. I'm starting to wonder. I was doing so well, until this virus knocked everything to crap. I don't depend on the Government for anything. This is far worse than Harvey . I didn't get a dime from the Government or any charity for the devastation it caused. Where can I go to work, and I'm 100% healthy ? I've had one job offer, but it's not until the lock down is removed. Do you observe things when you're in public ? I stayed at home all day today, but I plan to see what people are doing tomorrow within a 2 mile radius of where I reside. That's my form of entertainment so to speak, because I do like human interaction. I notice things at places I go to. I notice what isn't on shelves, and how people shop and interact with each other. I have watched the hoarders, and I have observed those that only desire to purchase what they need. I'm not going to steal or hurt anyone for anything, and I do hope I can make it through this mess while being laid off. There are millions out in the world that are just like me. We don't know when we will be able to go back to work, and yes I've been seeking jobs, but finding a job is almost like hitting the lottery now. I have faith in God, but this is a time of worry, because I have never seen these types of measures taken for any disease or virus in the History of the World. I might not make it much longer in this world, but I know that I have God, and I take comfort in that. I'd just like to stay on this world for a little while longer.

  19. 130 deaths to 600 in just a week isn’t alarming? Mathematically (and from the point of epidemiology) that is very worrisome. Millions died from the Spanish flu. Is that what we need to cause alarm?? React AFTER the fact instead of before it becomes a historical loss of life? No tears over 600. How about 1200? 12,000? 120,000? When does the concern start?

  33. 79 infected and only 7 deaths. That's less than 1% of those infected, and only 0.000268 % of the population is infected. Do you actually think it's top priority when it effects so extremely small of a percentage of our population ?

I heard earlier that China’s numbers have started back up after they went back to work. Don’t know if it’s true but it’s scary.

  36. IDK what #6 has to do with anything. Anyway...One thing you cant allow to happen is to have a schoolboard member pressure an AD to play the board members kid. I've seen this first hand. The coach stood his ground and the board was split on whether to keep him or not. We fought and kept him, but he decided to leave because he didn't feel supported. Also, there seems to be a mindset of some kids and parents that their child should get to play just because of seniority. No kidding. I've heard kids and say that they will wait until their senior year to play, so they can start. Who teaches a child that. Kids that put in the time and get better should play. No matter the classification.

  37. I apologize if I struck a nerve. I can tell you are very passionate about this and I respect everyone caring about their fellow man. I guess if I'm required to list credentials, then yes medical school would be on my list. But that said I don't claim to know as much as any of the "experts" you listed. My correlation between the crashes, opiods, and metabolic diseases would be that many things kill a higher percentage of folks than this virus. The flu, colds, and stomach viruses kill many more people if I need to only list contagious killers. Never claimed this was an American problem. I don't listen to Rush, watch very little news certainly not Fox, and I don't know who or what Briebart is. I do not think the virus response or those involved has anything to do with political agendas. I do not believe any of the "experts" weighing in on the CV-19 have an agenda at all. I do believe they have a normal human response of fearing the unknown. Yes it is still accelerating in overall cases, but the morality rates are dropping. In my Christian view 1 more death would be tragic, but not unexpected. Raising an eyebrow or caring if people die, it my compassion kidding in is all together different from being chicken little about it. While it would be tragic for anyone close to me to die from the virus, the numbers and facts say the odds of that happening are no greater than it happening from any other of life's tragidies. And your right, it probably wouldn't change my outlook on this overreaction.

  38. 500 deaths IS a small number. 1.25 million per year, or approximately 3200 per day killed in us in car crashes. Should we outlaw cars and auto travel? Opioid deaths are around 130 per day. Should we outlaw pain meds? Diabetes and other metabolic diseases - countless millions per year. Are we shutting down the Coke deliveries? All of those numbers are insignificant until you know one of them too. Huge overreaction in my book. The elderly and the sick die in large numbers due to Flu, colds, GI bugs, etc.... We owe it to them to avoid all of these exposures as best we can, but CV-19 isn't that special or different.
