DL haul for this class is going to be very good. Sanders is a freak and is one of the best DE's Texas has landed in a long time. Harris will be a stand up edge rusher IMO, and Texas looks good for Clayton Smith out of Texarkana. Thomas is more a SDE and could possibly spin inside. I think they'll also try to get Shemar Turner out of Desoto and still shoot for Marcus Burris. Also, Thomas has a 2022 teammate that will be one of the top DB's in the state so this could help some.

Certainly you understand there are tons of folks who know in their heart of hearts no Democrat can ever generate the kind of economic boom Trump has since he became president. For Trump to reach the heights of the Obama economic era it took a worldwide pandemic, I.E. the Wuhan, China coronavirus brought the Trump economy down so far it finally shrunk to the largest size Obama could ever muster. You call that being greedy or whatever you want. Does matter, Americans want a president who can help them hell their families. Trump does that and your Democrats don’t. As a Dawg fan I wanted to see how the Dawg teams of the past from 2008 until now, stacked up against each other. I have watched every video I could find on Kgas, MaxPreps, Dave Campbell, and others. it was fun watching but it was really amazing to see how different they were and yet the same. 2008 will always be special because it started the run of championships. 2016 maybe my all time favorite because they were the cardiac kids. 2017 in my mind was the best, after going back and watching all those teams. The talent on that team was amazing. The linebackers, wide receivers, running back, Oline, Dline, and secondary as a group was the perfect storm. 2019 in my opinion had the best O line and that includes 5A. I went back and watched all the 4A and 5A state championship games that I have recorded and that Dawg O line was as good or better than the teams I watched. I could write 10 pages on what I watched these past weeks. It was well worth the time and gave me a new respect for the hard work the coaches and players and sacrifices they have made to be the best. Let’s Go Dawgs!!!!!!! and ! God Bless coaches, players, and fans.

It is the same with Governor's who are limiting the freedom of the people. You think compliance is freedom and liberty when it is pure slavery. Yet you want to call them heroes. Judge Lina Hidalgo tried to usurp Governor Abbott with another 19 day stay at home order. While the wording is businesses that are already open can stay open it will give some the impression to stay at home. I'm sure some Barney Fife will try to arrest some people. Maybe that's why they didn't even let me work today, but I did pick up for someone else. I did see two hair salons that were open today. The Beck's Prime across the street officially closed though. So this lock down is shuttering businesses, and putting people out of work.

I tell people this all the time but Landyn Grant may end up having more talent around him than Haynes did which is insane. 2023 WR Jartaivan 'JT' Wright (6'3 180) looks like another Dorian Leonard in the making. 2024 WR Ethan Harrison out of Judson is already in the 6'1 range. He looks a lot like WRs that you usually see out of Lake Travis or Westlake. Long, rangy, fundamentally sound with amazing route running and very solid hands. The dude drops absolutely nothing, hands similar to those of DT Jackson, Justin Spady or even Kamden Perry. Then you have 2024 TE Jay Darensbourg out of Judson, who is already so tall, a lot of people believe he will see at least 6'5/6'6. I see an athletic version of Colin Jeter here, similar to an Adrian Reese. Longview has always had talent, the types just change. And with that 2023-2025 group, I see a resurgence in what Lobo fans saw in that 2004-2005 time frame. Of course, all this height means the basketball program will gain plenty from this as well. Judson won district in basketball in 2019. Still not sure if they will be able to keep up with those city boys but, should be as solid of a Lobo basketball team we've seen in a min. Oh and dont worry, the Lobo backfield will be stacked as usual. Lord the 2024 and 2025 classes are talent rich in the backfield.

Lets be honest, when the rest of your city has been mediocre at best in football over the past 30 yrs or longer and your program is the only one winning, any parent with a kid that has any ounce of football skills will find their way to your high school. That is no knock against the program, it just ONE of the reasons why it reloads every yr. If you live in Tyler and you are good in basketball, you will probably end up at JT. It's always interesting to see how these things shake out in multiple high school cities.
