  1. Why? Can't we act like you liberals, scream at the sky, yell "he's not my president", spend the next 4 years attacking the president of the United States, whining and complaining about the guy in the white house. I mean, it's not like you don't deserve the slander that you all have spewed the past 4 years. LOL.

Tennis courts were refinished last year. All this done without a bond or raising taxes. Dr Gibson, Coach Griedl, and the school board have taken us from the dark ages to cutting edge with our athletic facilities in just 2 short years. Cant wait to see the gym. Long Long overdue. So excited for the programs.

  7. I am honored to be serving on a statewide committee of only about a dozen Texas high school football historians, coaches or writers. It's perhaps the best professional honor I've received, including being a voter for the Heisman Trophy. But, I wouldn't be here without you. So, I need you to help me compile a list of THE GREATEST: 1) Players 2) Teams 3) Rivalries Please hear me out, this thread only needs to include NOMINATIONS with EVIDENCE and/or FACTS. Please limit any and all discussion to the nominations and not turn a nomination into a hi-jacked thread of back and forth. Your feedback WILL make a difference in my personal list and we have a short turnaround, so the deadline of your feedback is Sunday, May 10th. When you include a player or a team or rivalries, PLEASE be as specific as you can be. And, I will also do my own due diligence and homework. Thank you very much and more details to come. David Smoak

  8. It's worth noting that the AG also said that the federal law enforcement and intelligence communities engaged in peddling a false narrative about russian collusion without any basis in fact whatsoever. You libs and dems and dem sypathizers have been parroting propaganda for 4 years. Lenin coined a term for you guys: useful idiots.

  9. Let’s get off the bs and get serious about the Virus. According to the CDC they said to not wear your chicken, then wear your chicken. That chicken won’t cross the road, err ocean, so the US should be okay and not have a chicken problem. We need to stay at home so the chickens don’t cause our Hospitals to overflow. No wait, Stay at Home until the chickens level off. Now, Stay at Home until the chickens disappear completely. The bottom line, there are no deaths but chicken deaths. If we all Stay at Home, until the Chickens die, we’ll all live forever. In summation, we’re at War with chickens, and always have been. Big Brother said it, & liberals believe it.

  10. Does that make it right? The year before they run for president they purposely make themselves look like one of us. We all know they all have gotten rich off of politics among other things. The Bush family got rich off oil, then knew the oil business so well that we went to war over it. These billionaires don’t need to pretend to be like us. They need to just be who they are and show us how they can lead us into a better country and future.

  14. IMO we're already in a civil war. The question is "when does it become uncivil?" I suspect we'll know the answer to that in about 6 months from now.

  15. Kids' sports aren't business? Could have fooled me. Where does all that money go? As far as this plandemic goes. There have been several pandemics in recent world history that were about as bad or worse than covid-19. The response to this one is the big difference. https://weather.com/health/cold-flu/news/2020-01-31-5-worst-flu-outbreaks-in-recent-history

  20. Flip side to that kids going outside and playing sports aren’t business.... aren’t someone’s company... sports shouldn’t come before economy. Granted it probably could of been handled differently but this time of pandemic hasn’t happened before in the powers to be lifetimes.

  21. "As long as I'm attorney general, the criminal justice system will not be used for partisan political ends. This is especially true of the upcoming elections in november." I been telling ya'll, if nothing happens soon there won't be any indictements. Slow walkin all the way to november cause, yeah "election interference," which is of course bogus, but what ya gonna do? It's good to be a democrat. Should Trump lose re-election, the dems wouldn't hesitate to indict their foes on election day, and would be cheered on by the very same people, including some on here, who are now falsely claiming this is a partisan witch hunt.

  25. Seeing as I pride myself on calling balls/strikes. I gotta admit that his comment however many years ago with regards to dating his daughter were certainly cringe-worthy to me. Had he said something along the lines of "she's turned out to be beautiful lady" or something to that effect it wouldn't have been so bad, but he made remarks about her wonderful figure or something like that. I've got 2 grown daughters, and while I've told them they're pretty before, I've never thought about their figure. Just my .02 Having said that, the guy's been the best President certainly since I've been old enough to vote, and quite likely the best in my lifetime.

  27. Has to be the least corrupt, and certainly most investigated person on the planet. Yet still, nothing but conjoured up allegations from his detractors, that quickly fade away as soon as they're put under any real scrutiny. Instead of realizing the error of their ways and accepting reality, they simply concoct a new fairy tale. Rinse and repeat.

  28. "The governor has been clear that as the state of Texas conducts more tests, we will see the raw number of cases rise," Wittman said. "However, the [rolling seven-day] average positivity rate has steadily declined from our high April 13 [of a bit more than 13%] to around 5% today. Our hospitalizations remain steady, and Texas has one of the lowest death rates per capita in the nation." https://abcnews.go.com/US/texas-cases-covid-19-increasing-thousands-reopening/story?id=70720497

  29. I think all the states are waiting for someone to be the first to open up high school facilities and then 10-15 will follow. If Louisiana proceeds like we are hearing then I think Texas absolutely follows. I bet Georgia wont be far behind either. With the NFL preparing to play a full schedule I would be surprised if the falls sports don't happen!! California, New York, Michigan and all other Democratically controlled states probably wont do anything until after November's elections.

  30. I thought just 3 weeks ago football was not happening, but now more hopeful. If games are played I will attend. Just looked at some interesting Collin County covid19 numbers. As of Wed 5/13 1,109,000 residents (estimated) 963 positive cases 623 recovered 29 total deaths 18 of the deaths were from the same nursing home/assisting living facility of the remaining 11 deaths, 8 were either over age 65 or had serious underlying health issues. Let this all sink in...3 otherwise healthy/young people out of 1.1mill+ die (.0000027 % of population) and we ruin countless peoples lives...

  31. For a little perspective. I know it hasn't been a full year. I also know the covid 19 death numbers are falsely inflated to fit the media narrative. But c'mon man. This isn't the end of the world. Its not even in the top 10 diseases we should be focused on.....if we are truly interested in actually saving lives. But if you think this whole response is about saving lives, you may be a lost cause.

  32. There are those at high risk no matter what age. The older folks which I am one of are always high risk whether it be Covid 19 or any of the many strains of the flu. The death rate is always higher for my age group. Many more wile catch this virus. Most will be fine. Each of us know our risk and We are responsible to take care of ourselves. The economy has to open up. There are risk and people will get sick. At the end of it all I figure about the same amount will get sick and die any way we go. I think the lock down is just kicking the can down the road and destroying our economy. Fact is without a medical break thru the quicker we all get it the sooner it will go away. Kind of like the flu every year. I don’t want anyone to get sick for sure.i want this man altered disease to do its thing and leave
