Well, I don't have an answer for you either. However, Lufkin's style of offensive line play does not make it conducive for big running numbers, except in leap years. Like last year, when they played 10 different guys in combinations on the line and never really found anything that worked. Wish Rex Hadnot was OLC. Anyway, in the end, they were just not that good. Berry missed a couple games last year and those 874 yards in 2019 were hard earned and mostly on his effort. Hopefully we get to see these kids run all year, they are worth the watch.3 points

So your basing your predictions on last year's teams is that what I just read? If so man o man are you going to be disappointed. Palestine very well could have the best D but guaranteeing that before 1 district game has been played is crazy. Not unless you know something that everyone else doesn't.3 points

Hmmm. Well, from what I've read more unarmed whites are usually killed too (Of course, once you break the stat down, that too about evens out). If you have stats that show the actual types of interactions with police (whether the suspect resisted, stuff like that), I'd really appreciate a link to that resource. I'd be very interested to see that breakdown. I do know that whites are killed by police unnecessarily (as diplomatic as I can put it) and it never makes the news. I mean, if you're upset about George Floyd, have you ever heard of Tony Timpa? If you're upset about Breonna Taylor, have you ever heard of Eugene Mallory? Daniel Shaver and Justine Damond got a little bit of coverage. Remember them? No?Zach Hammond? Little Jeremy Mardis? I can't remember the name of the school teacher who got shot and killed leaving the land party. Can't even find that story anymore if you Google it. Just off the top of my mind. But initially, BLM's point was that blacks get killed by cops disproportionately to whites. Now that that's been debunked, they've had to come up with other complaints. The common sense is still there, though. The fact that any time a cop picks his nose and flicks it out the window and it lands on a black person the "news" media jumps all over it and puts it on blast, while the concept of reporting a white person getting killed by a cop seems to be blasphemy, should tell anyone with more than three brain cells to rub together that there is an agenda being pushed. The facts just do not support the BLM narrative. But it sure is getting shoved down our throats, and being used as an excuse to riot, loot, and intimidate all across the nation.2 points

Screw her dying wish. She had 8 years that she could have stepped down and allowed a liberal judge to take her spot... she never did. That’s a mistake Democrats have to live with2 points

This idea has been floated around since the passing of RBG. Just go straight to a vote if Barrett is nominated due to the fact that she already had confirmation hearings in the senate.2 points

People would call for King's head just based on his flipping skills LOL. They already screamed about it enough before the 1st round home field stuff came into play.2 points

But A: The nationally-recognized movement was started by the organization after Michael Brown's death, and B: as such, it's still based on a falee narrative - Police do not kill blacks disproportionately to whites. The DOJ's own stats prove that.2 points

It looks like you already voted on Aug. 28th. It says you chose the Lobos in a close one. Let me know if you need me to delete your previous vote so you can vote again.2 points

Who is supposed to play Winona? Holler at them. They may get the “anonymous call” as well. Lol2 points

It goes without saying that Temple is gonna sell out defensively to stop the run. They'd be fools not to. So if I'm calling the plays, I take as much pressure off my young QBs as possible. Quick slants and bubble screens. Roll out of the pocket and hit Kaden/Markevion in the flat. Don't allow Temple to just pin their ears back and come after you. Make them go lateral FIRST, and then start hitting them with inside power. Odd as it sounds, I think we establish the pass to set up the run.2 points

Notice the wording that's been used regarding this SCOTUS fight. RBG's "dying wish" statement used the phrase "until a new president is installed" (emphasis mine). What does the word installed mean in this context? Note the word used wasn't "elected"; it was "Installed". Words matter, right? And then also the phrase "until a new president". So does that mean if Trump were to win, since he would be the same president elected to a 2nd term, that they would have to wait four additional years? Words matter, right?2 points

I would think that picking up games would be increasingly difficult as district play starts for everyone. If you happen to pick up a forfeit win in district, you just take it and use the week off to heal bumps and bruises and move on to the next one. I doubt any coach (much less one that’s gonna be contending for a district title and a deep playoff run) wants to take a chance on getting players exposed during district play. I may be wrong, but I would think most coaches would look at it that way.2 points

Are they not allowed to be excited about being 3-0 even if it was against weak opponents.2 points

Yea cause it’s like how do you cancel a district when they are NEEDED for playoff seeding.1 point

If Carthage had been playing games, I think they win easily. Gilmer is a little more battle tested right now after the game with Lindale last week. They did a great job fighting through adversity and came out with the W in the end. I think it will be a close game. I'm taking Carthage by 1-2 scores.1 point

I remember a Dawg back that is pretty good. I think he rushed for over 200 yards in the state championship against a great defense. Add number 28 that can fly with a big and quick O line. 74, 75, and 55, and 11 are back blocking for the Dawgs. The Lindale May not be the best back Gilmer will see all year.1 point

If Biden were to win, people here would just do like those in Pelosi’s district & start ting the streets, & then You would be out of a job... “ So long, Jett Septic!”1 point

Jimmy kimmel. A man that got his start on tv by drinking beer and objectifying women as sex objects jumping on trampolines doesn’t like trump. Who knew? Yes, I watched The Man Show1 point

#22 for lindale is probably the best back gilmer will see until the playoffs. They essentially shut him down after halftime adjustments. Not to mention the secondary picking a few passes off. We'll just have to play the games.1 point

Those people were weakened enough that a virus with a very small mortality rate is lethal to them. If you want to say Covid killed them for your political argument I suspect you have that right to, but they wouldn’t be dead if they weren’t already weakened to begin with. It really looks like you’re happy they died either way for your argument sake. Nicely done ole chap, that tinfoil chewing may be affecting your thought process. Throw me a if I’m right1 point

I do too. Hope they schedule 4A and up. I’d love to see them go East to find a game, or maybe just play a 5A school. I THINK I saw where Lovejoy was open this week. That would be a good matchup for the Bobcats.1 point
