I've finally somewhat recovered from last Friday.... if someone could PM me one of those therapist's numbers y'all talked about yesterday that would be great. Anyways, after seeing both of these teams play my Dragons, I have to take Joaquin simply for the fact that they can consistently gain positive yards whereas Timpson relies heavily on occasional big plays. Joe's defense is also very scrappy, and they finally have a secondary that can stop teams that have a good passing game. Taking Joe for the district champs.

Both teams are equally good. I think Center has a very good chance because they can throw ball. I could be wrong but the turnover battle May tell the tail in this game. either way it goes, both teams will be good in the playoffs.

Why wouldn’t we send a few coaches not in quarantine to watch the Gilmer/Pitt game when we were not playing? We had already forfeited to LE and PG at that point. Pitt was the next game. And sorry to burst your bubble but SH is better than LE this year. Just wished we could have shown it on the field.

This could be a game for fourth place in District 9-5A. The Mount Pleasant Tigers travel to play the Whitehouse Wildcats. Some history between the two teams. The Tigers have never beat the Wildcats. They first played in a playoff game in 2008. Mount Pleasant gave Texas High a better game than everyone thought they would. Maybe if it wasnt for a few turnovers by MP and not capitalizing off of Texas High turnovers and turning it over on downs twice it might have been closer. But it wasnt. Now we move on to Whitehouse, they are undefeated after beating Nacogdoches last week. Will Whitehouse be able to stop MP's running attack? Did they learn from Texas High and Greenville? Will MP be able to contain the Wildcats?

You make a good point. We gone struggle against WO. The best running team in District didn’t have a great night rushing so we may be in trouble.

Why didn't Joe get that done in his previous 8 years? I personally have made more money, paid less taxes, and my insurance cost went down in the last 4 years. The prior 8 years the exact opposite was true.

You have no clue. Why would we take two weeks off when we could have beaten LE and gotten 3rd in district? And FYI when you have 2/3 of your kids and coaches quarantined you don’t get to practice.

Two very similar teams.......I give a slight edge to Jasper in line play......I give Center a slight edge at the RB position..........I think Jasper is the favorite but will not be shocked if Center wins.

I think this ought to be a fantastic game! I’d love to see it be the two talented running backs going blow for blow.

We need to get back to what we do well. For some reason we got away from that Friday night Vs PT. I’m not sure if we tried to change offensive schemes and failed... or if we just have to give credit the Pirates... but either way... we need to get back to what we excel at. Running sideways and misdirection ain’t it. We got swallowed up trying to be cute IMHO. Defense has struggled with tackles. But they aren’t what cost is the game. Defense kept us from getting run out of the stadium. Tackling needs to improve though. If we get back to our offensive base... and the defense does their job..... we win comfortably. If we continue the cuteness and the Jekell and Hyde routine..... Jville makes this interesting.
