  1. So 2/3 of those polled were left leaning Dems, and couldn’t get to 66%

  2. On Tuesday night, the Blue Devils wrapped up their 20th consecutive trip to the playoffs and another district championship with a 10-0 win over Diboll. This season marks 19 consecutive years that Central Heights has accomplished at least 20 wins ( not counting COVID in 2020) in a season, averaging 26 wins per year over that span. This win also locks up their 17th district championship since the 2003 season. This team is loaded with lots of young talent with much more coming thru middle school at this time. Best of luck to Coaches Jackson ,Thornell and Williams as they get ready for another playoff run.

  3. That would be a sweet deal. Don’t think that’s the case. They will hire 1 AD for all sports. Funny how bitter people keep making up their own narratives and everything is “what they are hearing”.

  5. Communication and de-escalation could have gone a long way right here. The lady said she did not want to sign the ticket and told the officer no. Right at that moment he told her she was under arrest and escalated the whole situation emotionally on both sides. I think if he calmly explains that she has to sign the ticket and it is not an admission of guilt....and if she doesn't he will be forced to arrest her, things would have gone totally differently. Even after it got heated he could have ended it when she said she would sign the damn ticket. The officer obviously has issues with the her family already. Bottom line to me, they both could have and should have handled it better. One of them is supposedly a professional and does it for a living. I put more of the blame on him.

  7. This case doesn’t create trust. When politicians go out of their way to interfere with proper justice there’s no trust earned. Chauvin’s family should sue Maxine Waters for interfering with the case. This doesn’t mean I don’t think the man is guilty, I have said a few times I think this was manslaughter. Murder should’ve never been a charge, but the prosecution was looking to get him one way or the other. Manslaughter case was open and shut in my opinion, but now the guy will serve whatever is handed down for murder. That’s not proper justice, that’s trying to appease a group you don’t want tearing up your city. Proper justice is based on facts and evidence, not emotions and fear.

  9. Between Maxine Waters and Biden, I’m fairly certain the verdict will be overturned. As it should be. No way the guy got a fair trial. Guilty or not, that trial was nothing more than a lynch mob. When mob violence decides guilt or innocence, Justice is longer an option.

  10. https://www.cnn.com/2021/04/21/us/ohio-columbus-police-shooting-15-year-old/index.html how long should the officer have waited for her to plunge the knife in 1 time???2 times???3times??? come on and tell me how many times can you stab someone before a peace officer is allowed to use deadly force...

  12. I agree with that as well as Mad Maxine. I have never heard of a sitting President comment on a criminal case in my entire life. Yesterday not only Biden, but also Bush Jr. and Obama made comments on the case. When a trial is going on politicians should allow the wheels of justice to grind and do it's job. If they feel a verdict is wrong then they can pardon them later.

  14. Not sure if you know this or not, but that thread wasn’t locked because of your hearsay. I’m flattered that you think I would single you out and lock an entire thread for speculating on coaches, but that would never happen here. Bashing new and former coaches/administration is what got that thing locked. Every 3 toofed red bellied truck driver in Henderson had a rumor on that thread. It was a necessary move unfortunately.

  17. As far as I am concerned justice was done in Officer Chauvins trial. I am not even referring to the verdict...I am referring to the process. There was enough evidence to believe Chauvin might have committed a crime. He was charged and prosecuted before a jury of his peers with the presumption of innocence. The prosecution and defense made their cases...and that jury of his peers found him guilty. That is the way the system works and while it might not be perfect it is better than most. I did find Maxine Waters comments to be problematic. No one cares what you are I say...but she is a member of the US Congress and as such has influence. Her statement about being "more confrontational" is the kind of thing I would expect to hear in a banana republic.

  20. He should have been convivted of lesser charges and done prison time. What he did was uncalled for and outrageous. I don't believe it was murder, manslaughter maybe ... the common denominator in all these cases that libtards, especially the left wing media refuse to acknowledge is "A CRIMINAL RESISTING ARREST" ... I do believe the judge should have granted a change in venue and/or a mistrial because of Mad Maxine, Plugs and media bias. He should have also sequestered the jury. Chauvin was never going to get a fair trial in Minnesota under the circumstances. It was a no win situation for true justice ....

  21. You know Boss, I don’t mind periodically throwing in a single-wing look. Shoot, with the right go-daddies we might even open the playbook up and throw the ball 5-6 times a game!

  22. "Most Qualified" is a load of ####. By that logic, nobody else would ever get qualified because the "most qualified" would get all the openings. The board is to look at the candidates and choose the best fit for their position. You can have someone who checks all the "Qualifier" boxes who #### at their job or just isn't right for what you are doing with your program. The brain surgery question is bull also. First of all, as important as the position is, it ain't brain surgery. Also, you make it out like you can either have Joe Bob and his homemade operating utensils or the dude of Grey's Anatomy. You are most likely gonna take the guy your insurance will pay for. As far as investing, I bet Bernie Madoff was pretty qualified. You just hire people based on degrees and experience with no attention to how they will fit into your company? You don't look at how they will fit in with their peers or get on board with the agenda of the company? That doesn't sound smart. If we hired coaches the way you think, there wouldn't be interviews. It would just be who has the longest resume.

  23. If it takes turning the Justice System into a lynch mob mentality to gain trust, what good is it? That sounds very similar to how it worked in the 40’s & 50’s when the KKK would intimidate judges & jurors. So now we have BLM, Waters & Biden intimidating/influencing the Jury. Wasn’t good then, not good now. Has nothing to do with the guilt or innocence of Chauvin, has everything to do with a fair trial.

  28. No, but that 80 year old should’ve either shut up or announce his faith in the system regardless of the outcome. Instead, he played to the mob because he’s been lobbying for votes for 50 years and that’s all he knows to do.

  34. #1...your a liar...I said from the beginning that once the cops put the handcuffs on someone that the life of that person is their responsibility...said that it was excessive use of force and that it was manslaughter...should get 20 years. #2...you and all the BLM crowd can't come out and say that Floyd had any responsibility for ingesting a lethal dose of fentanyl and resisting arrest. If he had just COMPLIED he would have been alive for a little while longer...but he was on a journey already...looking to find a way to die at a young age.

I promise it won’t be a long list it just may take a while for you to come up with something, anything.. oh....nevermind. I understand that was a completely too difficult a task to ask anyone to take on even the Press Secretary. Continue as you were.

  42. Daniel Swaim was seen hauling a load of goats up through HWY 859 yesterday. Coincidence????? I think not. I have heard people in Edgewood like 4 things 1. hauling animals 2.driving golf carts 3.throwing golf clubs and 4.winning football games. Swaim checks all of those boxes. If he doesn't have to drive a bus route he will be there yesterday.
