Wow, this is awesome! Nothing will ever beat seeing the games in person, but for those of us who can't make it to the games, this is a wonderful way to stay connected, watch some good football, and support the kids and community. Wins all around, in my opinion. Texas forever!

Lots of possibilities this week.......it's very difficult to pick a winner with the quality golfers playing each week on the Tour these days. Seems like every week we are surprised. Phil Michelson has a chance to consummate his career grand slam this week with a win here.......the US OPEN is the only one he is missing. I'm not pulling for DeChambeau or Brooks Koepka this week........just to clear the air on that one. Rory and any other foreign golfers ain't on my wish list to win the US OPEN either. A Michelson win would be unbelievable, but that's hoping for a little too much at this late date, IMHO. Then there's our Texas guys Jordan Speith and Scottie Sheffler......both are highly capable! They will be paired together today with newcomer sensation Will Zalatoris from Calif......he went to Wake Forest, but should do well on this course. Patrick Reed is from Houston, Jimmy Walker from San Antonio, and South African Dylan Fritelli is actually a UT grad off the Longhorn golf team(but I consider him a foreigner anyway). It's wide open this week......who's your favorite to win it this week?

I'm a broken record at this point but I don't care....I love talking about the future. The '24 class is loaded. QB, backfield, WR, TE, OL, DL, LB Secondary....there isn't a single weakness in that group. High end talent on both sides of the ball. They beat their opponents by an average of 42 points this past year as freshmen. That includes a 57-0 win over a good Highland Park group. '24 just became stronger too if that was possible. They just added 6'1 '24 DE Xaryus Sheppard who looks like a star in the making. Played varsity ball as a freshman and I think he was all district. His dad is a Lobo great, nearly played for the Green Bay Packers.

I'll gladly concede any point (regardless of politics) if it's based on reason, facts, and data. The greats of the Negro League would've done just as well in the MLB. Segregation was wrong. Racism is wrong. Full stop.

The 2016 election was voting as usual. No reason to think there was any fraud. Because of Covid, the 2020 election allowed all kinds of new things to happen, like mailing ballots out to millions and allowing mail in ballots. The States that have had it in the past said you need at least 3 years to prepare. In 2020, it was done in 3 months, with little or no preparation. Even the Leftist NYT said that mail in ballots was ripe for fraud. With all of the above, it’s no wonder conservatives look at the results with a jaundiced eye, not to mention the historical number of votes cast overall. Everything about this election screams fraud. Is there any proof? Not yet to my knowledge, but perhaps these audits will put the question to rest, one way or the other.

The other problem with Television ratings is that they don't get the entire perspective--kids are watching more streaming services, plus most kids are watching those 30 second TikToks--so they can get their news like @BarryLaverty......Just Joking Barry--We know you get yours from Op-Eds.
