What makes me optimistic about this Texas squad, specifically offense, is that its not the one dimensional, one man team it has been in recent years. Watching Sark utilize Bijan, Whittington, Roschon, Brewer, etc. is what is going to make Texas hard to beat. O-line needs work yes, but putting the ball in your playmakers hands can mask some of those hiccups which Herman failed to do. Card isn't spectacular (yet), but he's pretty dang good for a Freshman qb and he will only get better the more comfortable he gets.

I think it's too early to crown or condemn either of them, but I was impressed with both of them in their first starts.

I think everyone should carry a 30.06 .... good all around hunting caliber ... will take down anything on the North American continent in the hands of a competent operator ....

Waskom players still were not 100% from. The time missed due to Covid and that was evident in all the cramps. That being said Timpson is the real deal and Waskom at full strength still has their hands full with them.

One timeout but more on the sideline than King IMO. The speed was better. King was able to get the play out and make his pre-snap reads and adjustments faster than Mond. While not "fast" by any means the tempo was quicker than what they ran under Mond.

This is all I'm saying. Just because Haynes didnt look like a heisman candidate in his first ever start doesn't mean the aggies season is doomed. He did some things very well and even made some throws/plays that Mond didnt even make last year so I know he's capable. I think he just read the stat line and didnt watch the game. 3ints looks really ugly but two were to the right guys but were tipped by a defensive lineman and a wr running the wrong route. He made some mistakes but its still way too early to think A&M needs to find his replacement or the season is lost...

Pitt offense gets three starters back for first time since Harmony scrimmage and we will see a much improved offense finding its way to endzone. Offense ( the team as a whole) is still a work in progress and only a few tics away from really taking off. Our main concern is district and getting into the playoffs. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it started with a win over Tatum. It's definitely coming together and I for one, am trusting the process. Pitt Strike!

I think Texas jumps out to a quick lead. Arkie battles back to make a game of it, but UT stays ahead to win by 17.
