QB running to the sidelines to get the play call and run back out baffles me.4 points

Winning 85% of the games, so it’s hard to question really. That’s why in the 1st post I said that “I had it typed up a few times, but didn’t hit send”. Longview beat a good team. Should’ve been by a wider margin IMO, but a win is a win. Btw, broke a teams 32 game win streak in the process of getting the dub.4 points

I agree with @WETSUthis game today shows us nothing. It’s a good game to get the Oline reps against an opponent that you shouldn’t have problems with. If you do have problems up front then you gotta make changes. While I think Thompson is the best QB for this team, this season. It would’ve been nice to have this game in week 2 to give Card another “get your feet wet” game before a big road game. I expect a big win tonight but this team can’t “prove” itself until the TCU game.4 points

Funny that you have no issue with a Tranny beating up on women for sport, but when a Real woman does it, your gets . Hypocritical, I dare say.3 points

Meh, I don't buy that... there were plenty of missed or bad calls on both sides. Always are. Hell, on that last "TD" for Bryant there was a flagrant hold against one of our d-lineman that wasn't called and an obvious pushoff from the receiver. Also not called. It happens. Part of the game. If you're making the argument that there were a series of overt, totally one-sided calls that swung the game completely in Longview's favor... well, you've got your work cut out for you. Longview won. Period. Best of luck the rest of the way.2 points

Nice try Larry ... I guesd you missed the parts about the labor participation rate being at an all time low ... people living off never ending government unemployment, deadbeats living with their family and mooching instead of working, scammers and thieves, lawsuit Larrys and people just plain too lazy to work ....2 points

Damn, Barry... I used to vote D, but I am a wiser man now. You are what is known as a”Yellow Dog Democrat” in that you would vote for a yellow dog if he were a Democrat; Voting for a party philosophy rather than a person who has common sense principles is clear proof of years of brainwashing. No doubt you gobbled up everything Lyndon put on your plate.2 points

Serious question, is there another group of 4 teams that all hate each other to the level that OU, Texas, A&M, and Arkansas hate each other?? I really don’t think so2 points

There was one right before the half where Longview punted. The drive before Hale caught that TD thrown into double coverage at the end of the half. When you got guys like Hale they are gonna make up for a lot of mistakes. Longview has some ballers. Longview fans see that and it’s normal I’m sure. But when fans of other programs watch Longview in a big game some of the stuff seems questionable. But Longview obviously gets results with it based on their record over the years. Rewatching the 2nd half. Bryant had a good punter. Longview bringing in a new QB and fumbling the exchange on the 1st play was tough. Both teams played good D.2 points

Think about the impact the '24 class has had on this team... Now, rewind back to the 2016 team and think about the impact that special 2019 class had on that team... I loved that '19 group, but the '24 group are even better.2 points

So you’re okay with teaching kids to hate America? And you’re a teacher? Hmmmmmmm2 points

I thought Henderson would win a competitive game so this one really surprised me. The same defense that gave up 97 points the first two games has only given up 7 points the last two games. Hope that trend continues. Good job, Lions.2 points

LoboFan84 and myself were talking about this last night after the game. It's loaded, and this experience is going to be absolutely massive next season. I think we know who should start at QB next year, and I don't think it'll be as big of a question mark tbh. But this year, it just feels like we're too young to make a massive mark come post season time, but who knows. They might shock us all. I do think Bryant was one of the better teams we've played in a while. They were extremely sound in all positions, and rarely made any mistakes (other than holding because they couldn't handle our D line)/. Just have to keep telling myself that we're so young. They've played 4 football games on the varsity level together, and it's going to come together. They're going to make mistakes regardless, but even more so with how young they are.2 points

Yep. Defense is performing this dominant....despite almost exclusively being underclassmen. I haven't seen a better class come through Longview than that '24 group. Think about this, the JV is dominating everybody despite 12 sophomores either starting or contributing on varsity. That class is deep.2 points

I'm following you guys this year. Had a kid move from Garrison to Rusk that we are family friends with. He would be a good addition to any team and he's a heckuva good kid. I'm pulling for yall!2 points

I was in attendance.........Outsiders point of view --- scheme wise, Bryant was really well coached on both sides of the ball..........But Bryant's offensive line lost the battle with Longview's front........And basicly across the board, Longview was a half step to a step faster than Bryant. Longview's offensive line was not getting a great push on Bryant, just a seam here or there with good running by the QB and TB ----- that being said, on 3rd and 6 from midfield, why run a FB dive ?2 points

Congratulations to EF. Tiger fans gotta show support and not walk out on the boys until the clock says 0:00. Watch the boys shake hands, Coach give his speech and clap them off the field. All about the Tiger Pride2 points

Yes Sir, that's him. His Dad had to call him down a few times for running too much because he was running muscle off, that's the kind of work ethic he has. I was sick when I heard he was moving. We could sure use him. LOL1 point

Someone please explain to me why State supported colleges (using my tax money) are allowed to teach (indoctrinate) the students on the evils of America? Why don’t States monitor what’s being taught and remove Socialist Loons from the faculty? If I was governor, this insanity would stop.1 point

The Refs were brought in from out of the area. Same guys who did the SLC vs HP game. I’m not happy with the Refs in Evadale. My G’son caught a fumble in the air and took it for an apparent TD but one yahoo inadvertently blew his whistle. Cost Evadale the game. #%%¥€€£§!1 point

They played decent for about 85% of the game. Just some mistakes that kept the game closer than it needed to be. I'm glad they won though. Hope they keep this going.1 point

Yes I’m good with all that but the fact he knows Dee an Dco both hurt and he still has them out there is the stupidest thing he can do and in a game that doesn’t matter1 point

Nothing wrong with supporting there team, but Henderson looking good but has to keep going cause District we know what we up against, Kilgore and Chill, I still say all those games maybe be close even the Lindale game, not unless the QB from Henderson open up each time as with the Two RBs like useual, Henderson will be okay.1 point
