I've been on both sites for years.......I believe both sites are different & informative. What's the problem?

We don't need a quirky offense here. We did quite well in a rebuilding year. BTW...wasn't GHS one & done last year (as you are stating we were this year?) I was a little critical of our coach after the Marshall game, but I'll be happy to defend us standing pat if you're suggesting a swap.

I agree......just getting to a finals game is grounds for appreciation for the coach AND team.

Great year....just too many turnovers. Experience is a big deal when you get deep in the playoffs. Congratulations to the Cardinals for representing East Texas so well.

I'm a big supporter of the Cardinals, but sometimes it's better to walk quietly & do your talking after the fact. I've seen some really surprising results in playoff games & it's awfully hard to back up after you run over yourself. When you get to this level EVERY team is capable of beating you.

I played on the first playoff team Maud ever had. Can't wait to see if this version can win it all.

Plan on being there....but I'll be flying THigh orange & white. I WILL be rooting for maroon & white though.

I'd have to say I support the school & all sports. But I'll admit football is my favorite. Texas High is a perrineal power in swim & tennis and I know how hard those kids work too. When you get right down to it, swimming is probably the longest running consistent power program at T High.

Mavchamp is right. The drop to 4A didn't do much for us. Texas High was DOA until Norton arrived in 2000. Now we have a program & are winning from the 8th grade up year after year. I was in the stands when we were lucky to win 4 a year. It's a lot more fun now....but I'll never forget what those years were like either.

Yep....and we're paying top dollar.

They got my vote. What a season. Say what you want....they are smoking the competition so far in the playoffs.

Our alien Tiger fan doesn't remember the old saying of "Keep your friends close & your enemies closer". I definitely respect the heck out of HP's football program.....but I don't like'em much. I would imagine the feeling is mutual.
