I shouldn't have said anything, because I don't like excuses. Marshall is the winner & I wish them the best. But your statement is my feeling....absolutely. We were outcoached in this game. Good luck to ALL 3 12-4A teams. I'm your biggest fan for the rest of the playoffs.

Congrats to Marshall AND to 12-4A for the sweep. All 3 games decided in the final minutes, but you can't argue with 3-0. Here's my thought to Texas High coaching philosophy: If you ever drive in NASCAR and you see the white flag, then wave bye to the cars behind you. Because if you take your foot off the accelerator, somebody will put you in the wall.

Bad omen for T High. If they win'em..you gotta say congrats & tip your hat. The win's all that counts. They definitely earned bragging rights tonight. But they were both great games.

The way these 2 ended is surely a bad omen for T High.

If you read any of the preseason discussion of our own team we said we'd be ahead of schedule to win 1 playoff game.. Here we are with a Soph-Jr dominated team. Get your digs in now.....it'll be awhile before you get another chance. I say we'll be back in the top 5 for the next 2 years. Perhaps if WH wins a couple of playoff games in more than 1 or 2 years you'll EARN the respect you seek. In the meantime.....I'm supporting OUR DISTRICT CHAMPS !! I was wondering why he kept saying Kilgore was kicking our azz, when a bad call cost them the game. I don't remember if there was a controversial call...there may have been. I just remember THigh pulling the game out in the end. It was a GREAT game.

Back to the game Does anybody know which team (THS or Marshall) is the home team? I haven't heard.

I was trying to figure out who he was saying they had beat twice too. I guess I got lost in that conversation.

I'm favoring Kilgore by a little....but if MP can get some balls to those talented WRs, the game could take a whole nother twist. Good luck to the MP Tigers. Give'em the full treatment.

In 2003 Texas High opened up #2 in the AP Polls. I doubt they were ducking anybody. I'm not getting all emotional.....as you said. Texas High has never ducked anybody. It's a little absurd when you are scheduling Evangel, Waxahachie, and flying to Ohio for games for someone to insinuate you are actually afraid to play a particular team. I doubt you are gonna get much traction with that line. It's certainly possible THigh couldn't play on a particular week because of prior scheduling, but you can bet that would have been the only reason the game wasn't played. The 2 East Texas schools most of THS fans respect the most are Kilgore & Marshall. You've never heard me down either one of them.

My head says: SS by 6 THigh (pick'em game so I'm picking my home team) by 1 Kilgore by 7

History is being 8-3 in 2001 and then running off 6 straight years where you are in the top 10-15 EVERY year. One year of those 6 winning in all, another 3-4 being in the top 5. That is what I call a history. Please make the call to schedule us the next 3 hears. If you can beat us all 3 years it would indeed give you a toe up on your claim of arriving.

This is the first time I've heard Texas High being "scared" to play anybody. Who in the world would Texas High, Kilgore, Marshall or ANY of the regional powers be afraid to play? That statement destroyed whatever credibility you may have ever had. You'll hear no smack coming from Texas High fans about Marshall (at least originating from this planet). We cannot control transmissions coming from outer space.

Just saying Shreveport would have been a more neutral field. Shorter trip for both schools & lots to do after the football game.
