No doubt , when I was in school Marshall was top of the class in east texas for sure . Dennis Parker was there and shortly after leaving he was actually speaker at one of our football banquets . Tons of respect for the coaches and athletes that have went through that organization .

No not head coach but OC left . I believed they moved some good coaches around and hired a coach to help with QB’s and offense . My understanding they moved JV head coach to OC , which is not a bad thing . He is really sharp . I believe the talent is there , this may be the adjustment needed to make a good run .

Excited for this upcoming season , noticed there has been some changes with coaching staff .

Really enjoyed going to Van this year even after a loss due to sloppy play . Van has a great organization that in some ways reminds me of carthage , Great coaching , disciplined kids and a well thought out game plan . Great job van in all age groups , good to have you in our district .

Kilgore jv Has some bad boys !

man I agree , not sure what is going on there. I try not to disrespect the coaches by losing faith and try to think that they have a bigger plan in mind . But it sure is tough taking a loss for 3 weeks .

Kilgore took out most of the starters in the second half , JV is playing lights out and bringing the heat .

JV even with some key guys missing have been very hard to run against , QB has a arm that is unbelievable and he can run when he needs to. Still a few guys that could easily move up and really be a asset on varsity . Ready to see when the sophomores of this group become seniors , They have won many games and titles through the years .

I do have faith in the DOGS and feel like they will get it together , hard to get down when you know the talent that Is coming ! Kilgore wins

Thinking freshman wins 28-7 and JV wins 21-3 against Hallsville

Kilgore wins - offense needs to be less predictable , also less mistakes. Defense needs to control line of scrimmage ,control the outside and for sure step up on pass coverage .

BOTH JV AND FRESHMAN ARE LOOKING REALLY GOOD , JV LOST SOME KEY BALL HANDLERS WITH ADKINS , SMITH AND EPPS MOVING UP

Carthage in my opinion is the best team in 4a right now . I also believe that we haven't even seen the best of them yet . I am a Kilgore bulldog 100% but carthage is top of the class
