I think someone on this page had said the current(guess former now) AD was only on a one year contract so i wonder if they do the same to the next guy. i would assume that would be a big factor in getting some good candidates for that position.

It was crazy to wake up this morning to this news! i started hearing more and more about Buzz Williams yesterday so figured itd be him or Wade and i would have been happy with either of them. no clue if he's going to Missouri but if they offered and he can go ahead and start collecting NIL then i can see why he'd decommit. until the NCAA steps in and gets some uniform rules for NIL recruiting wont matter until the final bids have been received.

I guess you are meaning because of the issues stated in QC it would be asinine or what? a lot of HC/ADs are giving younger coaches more responsibilities so that when they do get the opportunity they dont go into it completely blind to what has to be done as a HC/AD. no clue who QC will hire but it would be a really tough sell for a successful HC to want to go there so you'd have to go the young upside route.

listened to a smu radio guy this morning say theres nothing to the rumor about muss. said they have their guy but cant say who, guessing hes still coaching right now. I know Arkansas isnt the best job in the world but may be top 15/20? still a lot better than wherever SMU is.

its nicer than independence stadium but not by much. its not a terrible stadium but it is definitely not SEC worthy. last time i was there was probably 10 yrs ago and i said im not coming back. last year the wifi crashed multiple times it happens every year so no cards for concessions and they ran out of water in the first quarter. the main thing is the recruiting or lack there of that you can do at a "neutral" site game.
