Well it looks like there will be 3 teams from our area this season playing Legion Baseball. Both the Razorbacks and Bulldogs on the Arkansas and Texas sides respectively are still around, however a new team out of Dekalb called the Broncos as sprung up. I'm not sure about the Broncos but the Bulldogs and Razorbacks both have websites if yall want to follow. Tkbulldogs.com and texarrazorbacks.com. I know we have a lot of talent in our area and I'm excited to see these young men compete and represent us.

I'm going with Maud. They have arguably the best pitcher in East Texas on their team.

The qb after Saxby was Addison Porter, not his son. This "rule" #### is ridiculous.

I played under BN for 2 seasons and have followed Texas High Football. This "rule" does not exist. Yes his son did play more than many thought he should have, but the lefty was not ready. It appears he may not even be ready this year. BN begged a Sr not to quit and now a sophomore has risen above the rest. Even from the outside the evidence is pretty clear that he did not have many options at the position. I have seen the Texas High program gamble in the 8th grade in moving a promising athletic qb to another position because the qb in a grade higher or lower was showing more promise. This way both could see the field. This gamble has worked out for BN as well as failed him but it is an extremely common strategy. You can accuse BN of a lot of things but this rule is not one of those things.
