  1. I have evidence that the current doesn’t work. I have evidence that the voucher system is a more moral system. Texas should try it
  2. More room for agreement.
  3. https://x.com/bgatesisapyscho/status/1762852824205955424?s=46 Posted as link due to some not great language.
  4. At least you’re consistent. missed the point on both. Congrats. The top post is as incoherent as humanly possible except for the last sentence. “Can’t do anything about it so why try” tells me a lot about you honestly.
  5. They are providing the funds now, won’t get more control with the same money by your standards. With a voucher it doesn’t even need to go to them in the first place. I get it, you are so against it cause what it’ll do to your job. Every teacher employed will still be employed with a voucher system. You might just have to pick your whole family up and move to a district of your choice.
  6. What happens if I don’t pay property taxes or income taxes? Will someone take it from me anyways?
  7. She thinks she doesn’t make enough. But she does. Vouchers are just the first step to get the government out of schools. Eliminate property taxes so the gov is no longer funding schools to the point of extortion. And schools opting out of there funding and adherence to a private standard of education that is accepted accreditation in society. civic duty has nothing to do with getting taxed to death. Maybe your public education failed you,
  8. So that’s a no to my question. So I’d lose 8k to property taxes and my wife’s 40k teaching job to home school my kids. The government doesn’t want you to so they money trap you into there system. No good system has ever had to be compulsory btw. I moved to a small town who does stuff their own way. And I fight to keep it that way. I could easily lose that money with downsizing everything. So push comes to shove and this district and the overall system becomes something I don’t want my kids to be apart of I surely will opt into homeschooling my kids.
  9. In true leftist elitism, everyone’s dumb, lets the gov help you. Haha
  10. Oh I believe this to be true. When you inflate money the corporations love it. Stock value goes up cause companies always cover inflation. The problem is this million dollars only spends like 800k still. Imagine you own a company that makes 100$ a year. You have a loan out for 150$ over the next two years. 15% inflation hits you -and you adjust prices to reflect that. Now your making 150$ a year but your loan is still 150$. It’s a much cheaper loan now. Stock prices reflect your growth of income and now you have happy investors.
  11. A lot of questions, no answers to why it won’t work. People take THEIR MONEY, and go to schools of their choice. Making schools compete with each other to provide a better product. Closest thing to a free market we can get. Plus it handles the discipline aspect better since you can tell unruly students to kick rocks out of the district at any time due to behavior.
  12. Teachers are def not under paid. I just did taxes on a teacher. 94% of her wages went home with her. Take that plus 187 day contract and it is significant as far as pay.
