I simply implied that I would rather see a football game of real football teams like Carthage and Kilgore play rather than two teams who don’t even pretend to play defense. I have not seen Gilmer play but I have seen Center and that’s not a team I would pay to see when there are complete football teams playing in other playoff games. I truly hope you enjoy your basketball on turf if that’s what you like more power to you. There is nothing enjoyable to a true fan of football in going to see a playoff game with a basketball score.

Shelbyville looked to have all starters playing other than QB- 1 injured. The QB that started SA game was QB tonight. The QB that played second half against SA is not on team anymore. So I would say they played all available starters. Just no defense.

I can see the rematch as a reality. It could go the other way. Two good teams. They are both worthy to win the region.

SA had far to much talent to not be in the playoffs.

Well folks I have crawled out of my cave, I had a nice long nap and now I am ready for some Friday night football. Man, it cant get better than this. High school football, in the piney woods. How do all you good folks see things shaping up for the 2015 season.

Wolverene you are incorrect. It is not murky for me at all. I was implying that some of the fans that are blinded by their loyalty to their team (this includes you) should start looking at things a little more realistically. I think some frequent posters on this thread are going to get their eyes opened. Have a great day.

The murky waters that make up District 10 2A(D-1) are starting to clear up. It is my opinion that the final results for this district are going to be different from most fans original picks. Just my opinion, but we will see.

Game Day week two is finally upon us. Once again we have the opportunity to show everyone how strong and competitive this district truly is. I have watched this thread since the creation of District 10 2A (D-1) and it has been an extremely interesting one to follow. There have been numerous posts from all across the Smoaky Nation. It has been a little curious to see how much this thread has slowed down after week one. We now have another Friday night to help us evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the teams in this district. I wish every team the best of luck and hope everyone comes out healthy. Hello East Texas. This is a great district. I am going to enjoy following it this season. I also believe the final results are going to surprise many people. Everyone will become more aware of each teams true strengths and weaknesses as the season unfolds.
