Rumbelow throws right handed and is now with Yankees organization. Eschberger is a very good pitcher and tough competitor and they also have another good pitcher in Ty Miller. Without these two guys Bullard does not make the playoffs.

I know they were in playoffs the last two years. Finished second place in district this year after winning a state championship in football and not getting in the gym till January.

Two really good teams and looked like a great game to watch. Wasn't a lot of HELP defense being played, but the way Tatum was shooting the ball it would be hard to leave their shooters.

I may be a little (or a lot) biased, but I really think that Coach Tate should be coach of the year in this district. Gilmer started late because of football and he has really done a good job of getting his players ready with limited pre-season games. Good job Coach Tate and staff.

Has SH ever rocked anything? There will be some good teams in this district so I don't think teams are intimidated by SH. lol Nice try though.

They play the same 5 players and have no depth at all, you get them in foul trouble and they are done. Like I said, Coach Coleman had a lot more control and discipline over this team last year. Kilgore is a team that looks a lot better during warm-ups than they really are. They don't have what I would call a true point guard, but they are very long and athletic as a team. Gilmer had them down by 5 points at their place in 4th quarter and lost.

Did LE get 4th place in their district? I thought they were better than that. Kilgore is not as disciplined as they were last year with Coach Coleman, but they should beat LE easily.

Here's another cool story. Matt turner is the best coach I have ever seen, he could coach any sport and win. Until you have an opportunity to see him in action you won't understand. Just because a coach doesn't want to be a HC doesn't mean he is not a leader, he has a son who plays at Rice and I'm sure he would like to continue to watch him play. Sign of a good leader, has his priorities in order. Love how all the Tatum faithful are so interested in Gilmer's business. SMH LOL and all that good stuff! Cool story! Gilmer will hire within, they have five or six guys who would or could be a Head Coach or AD.

Gilmer beat SH 58-46 Kilgore beat Bullard 55-19

He is playing D1 in the Southland Conference. 903 did you actually see him play this year? You guys need to realize that how many stars you have doesn't really mean that much. Most of the time the people passing out these stars are sports writers who never played the game. Example: JJ Watt was a 2 star recruit and look at him now.

Yes I played in the days where only one team made it to the playoffs. Not a CH or a Bullard fan, but anytime Bullard can lose at anything it makes my heart sing. lol

Gilmer doing ok considering they have only been in the gym a little over a month. This is a competitive district that you have to be ready to play every game. Going to be interesting next four games.
