  1. I agree Highbrass6, nobody should have left the bleachers until those boy left the field. We sure didn't and those that did should be ashamed of themselves!
  2. Congrats to Lovelady it was a great game. Shelbyville did get a BS call in the in zone and a ref didn't make a holding call on LL that would have changed the whole game. The holding on LL happened right in front of the ref and there was NO way he didn't see that! Shelbyville is VERY proud of our team and history was made. Proud to be a DRAGON Best of luck to Lovelady
  3. What I mean is with the talent and strength those kids that I mentioned had, his coaching style would have worked better for them. I do like the way he coaches the kids on the fundamentals of football. Not being lazy and willing to work out with them and not just watch while eating a burger! I do not approve of his actions on this matter and believe it could have be handled in a much different manner. Like I stated in my prior post, IF ALL OF THIS IS TRUE, the community as a whole will not stand for it. We as adults know it's just high school sports and in a few years these kids will look back on it and probably think the same thing, but for the kids playing the high school sport, It means the world to them and it's their time to shine. These boys were not out getting high or drunk, they were just playing a little backyard basketball and this is NOT the way they should be punished!!! Now, did that answer your question Dawg68.
  4. If what I have heard is really true and 2 players have been kicked off the team for playing a little backyard basketball while not on school property, I might add, the community of Shelbyville will NOT stand for this. These kids have played their hearts out for their team and school and this is just not right! Like I said, if it is true, Ferguson probably just signed his walking papers!
  5. Doubt that, I think you just like starting ####! Burrell was one of the main injured players and he did not play very much at all, his back up played most of the night. Done talking to you, what are you about 10...
  6. If that actually happened like you say it did, don't you think the ref's would have thrown the coach out of the game! Like I said before Shelbyville was playing with lots of injuries. If they didn't have those injured players it probably would have been a 50 + win! A win is a win period!
  7. Well a few thing happened that game with the first being a few of the starters were injured and second they played some second & third string boys. Those kids stepped it up and did their job to the best of their abilities. It seamed like all SA wanted to do was talk trash and start fights. The final score was what mattered and that was 21-20 Shelbyville and that's all that needs to be said! What else you got to say Wolfman? WE DID WIN!
  8. Happy to see Shelbyville having a winning football program again and I think it will continue for a few years to come. They have lots of talented kids coming up!. This year reminds me of 2010 & 2011 when they had: Brown, Rabalais, Estes, Adams, Deal & Cartwright. If those kids would have been coached by Ferguson, no doubt they would have gone deep into the playoffs! Good luck to Shelbyville, great group of boys with lots of heart! WE WILL WIN
  9. What kind of Offence does Ore City have?
  10. I totally agree, SA's # 10 is a one man show and without him I think they are in trouble!
  11. Joaquin fans seem to post on everyone else's threads, maybe that's the only way they can be talked about! So stuck on themselves!!!!!
  12. Let me see if I can play like LAMBO, oh ok I know "Tag you're it"......such a child If memory serves me right, Joaquin is loosing SEVERAL key players this graduating year and will struggle for a long time to get back to seeing a glimpse of a playoff spot! WE WILL WIN There I corrected it for you
  13. Shelbyville will be playing for something very memorable and remarkable for the schools history, so I think that answers everyone's question! They do have some starters injured, but I don't think that will stop them in the least. They played SA with the injuries and still came out on top!!! SA must have been OFF THEIR GAME to loose to Joaquin, I still do see how they won. SA only had the ball 10 minutes that entire game and still scored 44 points, no telling what the score would have been if the ball was in their possession for longer. Not knocking Joaquin by no means, they are a great bunch of kids! Shelbyville is in this to WIN and I think they will. Never underestimate the second and third string, they are hungry to play and prove a point the everyone. Shelbyville did play a lot of those guys Friday night against SA and still came out on top! Coach Ferguson knows this game inside and out and the kids too! Shelbyville WILL come out on top! WE WILL WIN
