Winner should have a great opportunity to play for the state title. I would not underestimate the other two teams that we all know will be playing next week. They are solid year in and year out, even though they do not play anyone leading up to week 5 & 6 of the playoffs. They are winners over there.

Daingerfield fans are more worried about the parking than the game. The reason being, is so that they can exit early and not have far to walk. They will want to get out of there QUICK!

I need two wins these next two weeks before the regular season ends for me to make the playoffs. It's like hoping and wishing for a Daingerfield win. Almost impossible.

Average 3A D2 team. Not a top 3A D2 team like Newton and Daingerfield.

Cowboys win tonight, possibly go 500 the rest of the season, squeak in the playoffs, and then make a Super Bowl run. Well, I can only wish for that. Being a Cowboys fan is like being a Daingerfield fan I could imagine.

Ehh. I don't know about that. WOS lost within a touchdown to 5A PNG which is still playing, within a touchdown to Jasper which is still playing, and by a touchdown to Silsbee who was #2 in the state at the time, and by 4 points to Newton which is still playing. I wouldn't stretch it and say a "woodshed" now. Be realistic.

WOS took 5A PNG to overtime this year. PNG played for the 5A state championship last season and also playing in the 4th round of the 5A playoffs this week. WOS lost to all solid teams. They aren't the same WOS due to the new coach, but they aren't a slouch as you put it.

Daingerfield came out hyped up and played well for the games that they won. Daingerfield came out flat and played their worst game for the games that they lost. I see a trend.

Yes. Those are the three main offensive weapons. Those three will combine for 300+ yards Friday along with 4+ touchdowns. Save this post Daingerfield fans!

I'm not saying we have anyone like those three players, but we do have a WR/DB with a handful of D1 offers himself. Therefore, he's no slouch! He had two interceptions and one long receiving touchdown before the half against you guys last year. He's a ball hawk! I know you guys have that too, but I am just pointing that out.

Nothing new for Newton going back several decades. Your coaches and players know the "quick pitches/counters" are coming, but stopping it for 48 minutes is the problem. The success for the long payoff runs for Newton is personnel. Some years we don't have the personnel to make the long runs, yet some years we do. Newton keeps the same offense whether it works or not. We won't throw anything new that you guys haven't seen. Newton has the players and execution this year to win with the same old Newton plays.

He will definitely be more talented and have his way on Defense. He's a three-year starter at D-End and so happens to be our most productive offensive player. I agree, he will be exhausted, but that is every game. He was a problem for Harmony on defense and scored multiple long touchdowns. He will be alright as it will be nothing new.

The quarterback has been the most effective runner and scorer all year. KJ Porter took over last game, but #7 puts up big numbers consistently. He is a Hoss running the ball. He is also our starting defensive end, so he's pretty dang physical. I think he will put up numbers this game.

The quarterback will do more damage in this game! He'll have over 100 yards rushing with 2+ touchdowns himself alone.
