  1. Keep up with the Gilmer Buckeyes @ the new web address: www.gilmerbuckeyes.net.
  2. As the old website for the Gilmer Buckeyes is no longer active at www.gilmerbuckeyes.com, the new website is up and still under construction. Information is being added daily. The new web address is: www.gilmerbuckeyes.net. questions can be addressed to [email protected].
  3. The "R" word is not used in Gilmer, but as everyone knows, when good or skill players move to a town it IS for a reason. There were two skill players to leave Gilmer this year. Odds are, I bet they will be replaced (you guess how).
  4. Why? Is he headed to a town 12.5 miles west of Diana? I heard there may be an opening there.....
  5. The mobi site is strictly football designed for cell phones. it had nothing to do with the other site. I know the gilmerbuckeyes site was on the school server.
  6. What happened to the www.gilmerbuckeyes.com page?
  7. Two things are for sure: 1. I will be off Friday so that I can travel early. (got to beat that early Gilmerite crowd) :D 2. I will be as close to the 50 yrd seats as I can get. ...oops: I broke 70 posts since 2005. So much for laying low.
  8. Or stick with the original site: www.gilmerbuckeyes.com
  9. Just curious, what are the scenarios for each team to be the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in the district at this point?
  10. Every game is a challenge for any team on the field. It is good to see success in a program. I agree it makes it more interesting if more teams in the district share the same success, but you can't count out other teams if they don't have the same success as one. No matter what happens, there will be two other teams in the playoffs from 173A. I enjoy watching every game that I can, if it's the Buckeyes or someone else. This year, the district seems to be more balanced than usual. Some would call it a down year for some of the teams, but it makes it a lot more interesting if you are not sure who will be the top three at this time of the year. I see that in this district. That said, I am sure that Spring Hill will come out and give it their best. It will be a fun game to watch, because it's football.
  11. Marshall - Longview was always one of the best games of the year to watch. I remember the week of build-up every week before the game. It was an intense week. It has lost it's hype in recent years as compared to the 70's and 80's, but it is still one of the best to me.
  12. We need to save the "TDH" for next week, but it wouldn't hurt to use a little of it this week. Get the hex out and brew it up.
  13. Can someone post a link to the Hunter Harrison/Smoaky interview from tonight? I could not pick it up. Thanks.
  14. You're right. They're on that other forum being crazy, but Kev is giving them heck. Wish they would come over here and take a good SDC romping form you guys. Good luck this week, and hang 60 on them.
