TH had no serious passing threat tonight. And what little they had, they failed to convert when it counted.

Excellent defensive adjustments by Gunter in second half. TH #5 has not gotten many yards in Q3 or Q4.

Tidehaven has an excellent defense and has played well against those little Gunter bunnies.

Well………Tidehaven believes they belong here and the score supports that. Gunter gets the ball 1st in the second half. Could be a nail biter in the second half.

I guess a 1 minute scoring drive will work also! 17-14 Gunter. 3:18 left. #5 for Tidehaven at 144 yards and 2 TD’s.

Tidehaven needs a 4 minute drive and a TD before half.

Tidehaven is equally as physical as Gunter IMO. Hopefully they can maintain this intensity for 4 quarters.

If Surratt hired Rigdon’s dad and he played in Carthage for his Sr year next year, he would most definitely start at slot receiver and end up with 1,500+ yards and 15+ TD’s. He’d probably also return kickoffs and punts too. Does that answer your question?

It depends on which play we are looking at. When he decides to give maximum effort, he is tough to block and would require a double. When he gives half effort, both Gilmer OT’s can block him man up.

How many games has Gilmer not had a turnover this year? I think that’s a given. At least one anyway. They can still play through that assuming the defense continues to improve and the changes made on the backend for Carthage game continue this week. I think this game will be like the Carthage vs Glen Rose game last year. It will be a good one. Rooting for the Bux to get it done.

Just listened to the Gilmer Coach’s Show with the Gilmer radio guys & Coach Metzel that was posted Mon. I have been very critical of them in the past due to stupid things they say. Gotta tip my cap to them for a job well done on this show. Very respectful show and classy comments on Surratt, Jett, Carthage coaches, players, fans, etc. If you have not listened you should.

If Gilmer coaches don’t play the same guys in the secondary that they did against Carthage I will be shocked!
