Not unusual to put the coaches accomplishments in the announcement of their hiring. This is done in all sports.

Maud eliminated Hawkins 5-3 last night in Hughes Springs. Very good game by both teams. One of the fastest games I have seen in a long time. I believe it was about an hour and a half long (7 innings). Very few hard hit balls. Both pitchers had the hitters off balance for most of the night. Hawkins led 3-2 going in to the bottom of the 6th but Maud came back and scored 3 to get the victory and move on to the next round. Congrats to Coach Sanders and the Cards.

Not surprised that the MV defense played fantastic, they have played great all year. Isn't Coach Finney the DC ? If he is then that is why your defense is so good!!!

You ain't never lying. Watched them beat a good Harleton team and beat our Dawgs and thought they might win their district or at least give Tenaha a close run for their money but was wrong. Then lasts weeks loss was just a plain ole head scratcher. Still gotta go with the Cards at home. Right the ship before playoffs!!!

Exactly! Amazes me to see QC posters try to justify their teams actions. Obvious lack of discipline when it happens over and over again with different opponents. The new AD has tried hard to instill discipline and get things turned around and I think has done a great job but its going to take time to clean the mess up. Winning starts with discipline.

QC who ended up tied for district champions with Mount Vernon (split head to head matches) won the flip for seeding and will represent the district as #1 seed and wil take on Praireland who is the #4 seed Tuesday night in Mt. Pleasant. Starting time is 8 pm.

WOOOO HOOOOO!!!!! What a great game!!! QC Lady Dawgs rolled up Mt V in three straight games!!!!! B Watkins was a BEAST!!!!!!
