There are a couple of former Cumby players running the show at Quinlan Boles. Todd Wallace and Gordan Jordan have done a fine job of turning that team into a "state championship" contender.

Cumby can put up points. They put up 32 against Quinlan Boles and even led that game going into halftime. They have a super Soph QB who has passed for 1646 YD's and 20 TD's and has rushed for 881 yards and 7 scores in 10 games this season. They also have a 6ft 4 inch wideout with good hands. Cumby's problem is on Defense.

Cumby can def put up points with Sophmore QB Brixx Hawthrone leading the way they put up 32 points on Quinlan Boles who is 10-0 and nobody put up more then 20 on them all season. Cumbys problem is Defense they give up points in bundles. Last week against Boles Cumby was leading 16-12 in the 3rd quarter when Boles just exploded scoring 35 points in 8 minutes YIKES!!!!

Congrats to the Cumby Trojans who have broke a 28 year playoff drought 1979-2007!!! I'm sure they will get killed but who cares they have the best team they have had there in 28 years. Kent Hawthorne has done a HELL of a job since bringing the program back from the dead.

Brixx Hawthorne Soph QB Cumby through 9 games has passed for 1,492 yards 16 Td's and 3 ints he has rushed for 753 yards and 7 Td's.

How about Cumby Sophmore QB Brixx Hawthrone was 16-24 364 yards and 4 Td's and 5 carries for 102 and 1 td in a 56-20 win over Celeste?

Also missing Nathan Dunihoo RB from Cumby 24 carries 256yds and 3Td's 2 2pt conversion

I told you guys Cumby was improved. Brixx Hawthorne is only a 10th grader and is much improved. Cumby should end the 28 year playoff drought this season.
