According to the Palestine Hearld Press the refs called alot against both teams. Now this was his un-bias opinon. Go to their web site . He wrote a interesting article on fan behavior during this game. Both Cayuga and Slocum are very good teams. Are both of these teams in Div 1 or 2.

Forney 72 Westwood 69
With Westwood behind 70 to 69 Westwood brings the ball in on the sideline and gets a layup but misses the shot. They foul Forney Quick and they make both freethrows. Westwood gets a good look at a three from the wing but it rims in and out. Very good game by both teams.
1st place Forney ( their no Whitehouse but a good 4a team. This was their Coach's 400 victory.)

3rd place Krum ( very good 2a team )

Don't count out China Springs. They feel like they are the team of destiny.They have to kick a fieldgoal in the last seconds of their bi-district game to beat Rockdale and now find themself in the Championship game. They are a very solid well coached team in every phase of the game. Celina will have to beat them because they will not beat themselfs.

I to thought too many teams made the play-offs until this year. I can't remember the schools but on High School Extra they talked about two Teams that got 4th in their district and are playing for the State Chapionship.

Smiling Bob: Out of the 4 facts that I listed which one is wrong.
1. I can Fax you Westwoods Schedule if you will give me a fax number.
2. You are from Cayuga look at their schedule to see if they are playing someone esle or not.
3. These teams do not play each other so let it go.
4. Let Cayuga and Westwood worry about who is on there schedule and not worry about whos not.
Before you call someone a lier could you please tell me what I am lying about.
All panther 1 was saying is that some people from Cayuga, players ( girls ) ,and fans At the Fairfield tournament ( your girls were playing there )wanted to know why Westwood did not want to play Cayuga. The Westwood coach pull out his schedule and showed the date that he thought they were going to play. As it turns out Cayuga is playing someone else. I do not belive this was done on purpose but what is done is done. Nobody on here has said anything bad about a very good Cayuga or Westwood teams so some of you need to get off here and stop tring to start something.

Look people . Cayuga beat Westwood twice last year. Nobody on here has made an excuse or not given Cayuga credit for doing that. It is just ashame that they wont play this year. Lets look at some FACTS.
1. Westwood had Cayuga on the schedule to play Jan 4 at Westwood.
2. Cayuga has someone else on their schedule Jan 4.
3. They are not going to play each other so let it go.
4. Let both Cayuga and Westwood worry about who is on their schedule and not who's not.

Westwood has 3 open dates it is tring to fill. Westwood made three road trips to 3 teams last year that are not going to repay them by comming to their place this year. The Dates are as followed.

Start Distict on Jan 11 so were really in a bind for as games go. We will travell to every game if we have to.
Does not matter if it is 5A,4A,3A,2A, or 1A. We just need games.

Yes they traded, Westwood is the home team and NO Westwood didnot get any tapes except the ones they got from China Springs.

We will go to Lufkin if it come to a home on home flip and we win it.

This game site is still undecided. The WW coaches went to trade Tapes Saturday night and China Springs said they did not want to trade any Wide verisons of their games. Of course they run spread and we want the wide tapes. The China Springs coach then said ( ok I will give you the Wide tapes but we get to be the Home team.) They already have a big advantage playing so close to home. So the Supt are going to meet and come up with a neutral site. They would not flip for Home and Home. We win the Flip Lufkin, they win the flip Waco. They did not agree to play in Corsicana, which would be a neutral site. THey are trying to play hard ball and get everything in their favor.
Here's what they want. Play in Waco and be the home team and don't trade wide version of their tape.

In the post you put up that I wrote I don't see anything about me saying that neither team had athletes. Yes I was at the game. Other than that question I don't know what you are asking me. I will stand by my post . I really think the team that can hold the other to 32 or below will win this game. I also think that how these two teams defense steps up will determine how long they play in the play-offs. Both Diboll and Westwood ( have seen both play ) have very explosive offenses, but their defense can be suspect at times. Good Luck to both teams.

The team that can hold the other one to 32 points are under will win. Teams look the same on offense. Both have very good TB and QB and Wr that can catch. Ever who shows up and plays the best Defense ( not good defense ) just the best that night will win the ballgame. 55 -52 Westwood.

Depends on which Palestine team shows up. 'Fairfields has enough skill athletes that if Palestine trys to phone this one in Fairfield could win this game. Palestine being at home I have to go with them.

Zonebiltz you are really going out on a limb with your bet . I take it you are really not a betting man. You are more of a sure thing man. I wish Cushing and Alto all the luck in the world and if you are a young man that plays for Cushing pay no attention to this, There is a reason they still play the game no matter the odds.

Hudson actually has one of the better weight rooms around here. I don't coach their so I cannot say how much it gets used, but Hudson has very good facilities. ( weight room included )
