  1. You wont find a more nice or hardworking young man than Clayton Kendrick. He deserves everything he got this past season. Now, go win state in powerlifting clayton! ;) God Bless!
  2. Dude...Weston Jameson from edgewood. Possibly as MVP. He is a returning 1st team all east texas member.
  3. Well the scary thing is...they didnt lose any starters. Last year they started 4 sophomores and 1 junior, and if those same people start then that means 4 starters will return next year. Their guards aren't big but they play very smart and they can all shoot. Lance Anding is just an all around great player and will do great things. He had 7 three pointers a few games ago. Daniel Howard can score, but my opinion is that he has better defense than anything else. He is very quick. Rumbelow played point last year and did a good job of taking care of the ball and had pretty good defense. He just plays very smart. And at the posts you have Charlie Moore and Brandon Beavers. Moore is a very good leader, and does his role every game. Great rebounder and can just flat out jump. I think Beavers is gonna keep getting better throughout the season. He plays hard, can score and rebound well, and has pretty descent defense. I saw somewhere this season where he had 19 points and 14 rebounds in a game. Bullard will keep emproving throughout the year. I hope to catch a few of their games. Good luck to all the teams in the shootout.
  4. I totally agree with these choices...each one of them has earned their spot for all-district. Also, i would add Cameron McMend to the list for the O-line. NOW, the real question is...who gets MVP??? lol
  5. Im tellin ya man..Do "NOT" underestimate Van. They will be better than you think. Van has proved that they have a great run defense. They have shown good moments this year in the secondary. The Maybank game is a great example. Holding Colton Browning to 117 yards is a huge accomplishment. Part of the reason was that he was sacked about 10 times that game. I understand that Prosper is a good team. Im not denying that at all, but Van WILL be alot better than you think. Good Lick to both teams! Van- 24 Prosper- 21
  6. Their athleticism helped them alot of last year. If Bullard comes to play then i think they will handle them fine, but if they dont, Ferris could hang around for a while. Either way i think Bullard will take it. They are a very good team. I hope to catch a few of their games this year.
  7. Who all has Pittsburg lost to this year? I havnt really been keeping up with them...
  8. Either team will have to play very well to win this game. This should be a great game. I feel sick to my stomach because i wont be able to see it. Good Luck to the Vandals! Im rooting for yall. Good luck to Pittsburg as well. Ill take Van in a great game... Van-35 Pitt- 21
  9. I just read on one of smoaky's forums that they played tonight. Does anyone have an update on the game?
  10. So correct me if im wrong, but Pittsburg is more of a running team? If so, I think that could benefit the Vandals alot. Their run defense has been killing this year. Also, their offense has been playing pretty good lately. However, this will be the fastest defense they have played all year. This should be an exciting game! Good luck to both teams, but im rooting for the Vandals. Van- 38 Pitt- 21
  11. Van beat Lovejoy tonight 31-14. So Pittsburg will play Van in the next round. I heard they might be looking to play maybe in Whitehouse. I guess we will find out in a couple of days. How is Pittsburg doing this year? I havnt really been keeping up with them.
  12. Final Score: Van 31 Lucas Lovejoy 14. Van will play pittsburg next round. Great job Vandals!
  13. I agree...i think if Van comes to play then they should be fine. Their defense just keeps getting better and better every week. I was glad to see Van come out strong in week 10. Keep working hard, because it all pays off. Right now i wont say how close the score will be because i dont know a whole lot about Lovejoy other than that it is their first year at Varsity Level. But i will take predict Van as the victor of this one. Good luck to both teams!
  14. I dont know anything about Jasper. What do they look like this year? and what is there biggest threat?
  15. Well i was at the game and they just couldnt stop Van. It was the quickest Van scored all year. Even at the end when the backups were in. I dont know what the problem was. And Eustace couldn't do a thing on offense. Van just physically dominated them. This is what i saw...no harm or fun entended toward the Eustace fans or team. Van just came to play and Eustace did not. Good luck to both teams in the playoffs!
