I don't normally say a lot on here as you can see by my number of posts. But, I was at that game sitting in the Troup Band section of the bleachers. I watched both bands march and did not hear any of the comments that you are talking about. My question is - where were you when you heard these comments being made? Were you on the track, in the Troup stands, where? Where were the Bullard kids at when these comments were made to them? Also - were these comments that you heard made by students or adults? Were they made directly to the Bullard band students or was it people just talking about the performance in general. I honestly don't remember Bullard being that un-perfect. Sorry for all of the questions, but I am a detail person. And - I have been attending Troup games for quite some time now and have never really heard any Troup people being ugly toward band members. Even when the band was really horrible (both theirs and ours).
Also - if people from Troup were being ugly, I apologize on their behalf even though I don't know who they were. I also truly believe that you should never insult a child. And afterall, these our are children, our future. We should always be building them up, not tearing them down.
