Leonard 5 Howe 3 Leonard begins the second round of district next Friday at #1 (5-1) in District 10 3A. Playing a non-district game against Winnsboro on Tuesday night in Leonard. Should be a good one to us ready for round 2.

I’m betting it’s Leonard, then Couper or Chisum. The rest is a #### shoot.

I watched the game on TV. I don’t think the block was bad, just an unfortunate landing. The QB was injured in their last district game against Leonard. I heard his collar bone was “shattered.” He didn’t miss a playoff game. That’s a tough kid, I’m just not so sure why a parent or a coach put wins before healing. I understand there were lots of GT kids playing injured. Some injuries can be “played through” but breaks, rips, and tears need to heal properly.

Maybe Gunter should’ve played their backups the 4th quarter since they’re used to bringing home the win. They were worn out! Good job Eagles.

On Directv, the Gunter/Newton game is listed to air on 676-2 at 7:00 on Thursday. That may be old news to y’all but thought I’d share it anyway. Good Luck to both teams.
