I’ve heard good things about him, hope it’s all true because he’s got some big shoes to fill but he’s walking into an awfully good situation.

Good question to ask is,can he get his pops to come out of retirement to coach his D for a year or so? That would allow him to get that O cooking and work on some discipline
No, Henderson doesn’t do retire rehire

Rigdon got 172 rushing in first half...lol
He'd look good in Carlisle blue and gold next year..hmmm..wonder if he's gonna be a free agent after this season, what's his contract look like? ..we got a lil room in our cap I think.
Rigdon’s dad wants to come back to Carlisle, but he burnt too many bridges.

I would love it if Gary played 6-man football. That would be cool. But I want to say... Karnack? Does Karnack still play 6 man?
Karnack school closed several years ago.

I’m at the game and not Cheering for either team. That’s not what took him out. He twisted his knee when his foot got stuck in the turf. I would’ve put money on it he blew his ACL. The better team won tonight.
Talked to the coach after the game, it was the shot to the head that knocked him out of the game. Like you I thought it was his leg, but the trainer advised that he not re-enter.

That catch by Hart was the best catch I've seen this year. He attacked the ball at the highest point and strong armed it from the three defenders. Really nice. Yes Trent Eaves was a difference maker on both sides of the ball last night. Having Eaves on one side and Z on the other next year is gonna give people fits with Espanoza being back at QB.
Trent Eaves has gotten better and faster each game and he may have the best hands on the team.

Any stats from the game 77?
Unofficially, Brody had 252 yards on 12 carries, seven touchdowns. Did not play after midway thru third quarter. Anxious to get defensive stats to see how many sacks Carlisle had.
It could have been worse, remember Fernando had a great 34 yard run where he pushed one defender to the ground before he fumbled at the one and it was recovered by Evadale in the end zone.
Carlisle scored five times on its first 10 plays, rushed for 411 yards and had 601 yards total offense, unofficially.

Clay got with both Evadale and Hull Daisetta early last week and the three chose Trinity then to keep from waiting until last Friday and getting a worse location.

DCTF picks Carlisle by 27.
CalPreps predicted score is 55-7.
The only real contenders in the region unless there are injuries or big upsets are Carlisle, Mart, and Lovelady. Mart and Lovelady play next week if they win this week so one of them will be gone in round 2. The winner of this game plays either Wortham or Clarksville which will probably be Wortham. They are no slouch but a rung below the three above. Only district loss was to Mart by 25. Other loss was predistrict to 3AD2 playoff team Blooming Grove.
Some really big injuries (to Eaves & Hart) and some second half home cooking in Alto last week kept Carlisle from notching their 2nd ever undefeated season. 1960 remains the only one in school history.
Believe they were 11-0 in 2018 before losing to Tenaha in playoffs.
