Is Rusk still open? Where is the current coach headed to?

Agree! Any idea if the old coach is getting back into softball?

Saw where Rusk job is open. Coach Renner has done a FANTASTIC job with that program and I'm sure everyone in Rusk hates to see her leave. Does anyone know why and where she is headed? I assume a bigger opportunity with her track record.

Thank you blesseddaily. I realized that after I heard people talking this weekend. Hate to hear the way he was treated there. Also hate to hear that he's not coaching softball anymore.

Does anyone know why the Hudson tournament is not as big this year? Usually they play at 2 different sites because of all the teams, now it's just at one place.

Guess you all don't know that the superintendent is a former coach and I believe was a part of a state championship softball team (not sure if he was head or asst. coach). What coach/former coach would not care one way or another? Makes no sense.

They lost their pitcher that took them deep last year, but I believe they had a freshman (?) that came in during a playoff game last year and got the job done. So they should be fairly decent, but know nothing about the other teams in the district.

I might have overlooked it, but did anyone say where Coach Comfort went? Did he retire?

Does anyone know about Huntington's district? How good that district will be?
