Just to clarify, this is NOT the first home loss Gilmer has had in 17 years, they lost to Carthage at home just couple weeks ago

PG don't have 1 ring in football, PG is good don't get me wrong, but they get a little success in 2 games and now people are saying they will hold LE to 28?? And Gilmer to 28!??!? That's just delusional! Carthage has won 5 state championships and I'm not sure PG has 3 kids on the team that could start at Carthage! LE will win this game and win by 14 or better! We have all seen LE at a track meet and saw PG at a track meet (for what it's worth) and they don't have a single athlete that can run with LE, LE may self explode at some point but I think LE finds the groove and gets the W...

Black Beard do you just get on here to start Stuff. You sir are so mis informed it hurts! I was actually watching this practice from the stands when this all went down! He couldn't block that day and coaches pushed him like coaches do to make the team as a whole better and he turned out of the huddle and ran off to locker room. THEN practice resumed like it always does if kids walks off! And I know for a 100% fact that he did have every opportunity from the teammates and asst coaches and the HC talked to him and he said he wanted to focus on the band because he was going to college to play in the band and not football! It wasn't for him, he is a great kid but he decided his heart wasn't in it and left. And for you bad mouthing coaches sir have you ever coached more than little league? Do you understand how it is in high school? Or are you just one of those people that like to hide behind a keyboard and run your mouth?? If you think you can do so much better coaching... why don't you coach? People like this is what gives coaches and programs bad names! I don't post much but I will post facts and I was at this practice, I actually show up and watch Several practices! 90% of people have no idea what high school coaches go through on a daily schedule all you see is Friday nights and maybe a practice or two. Not the all day Saturday work, not the studying opponent all day Sunday and then doing lesson plans and teaching 5-6 classes then doing everything a coach needs to do. So before you say somebody needs to be ran off, maybe you should go get your degree become a coach and maybe you will be a little more hesitant before you say somebody should be fired/ and go without a paycheck! Okay rant over!

This wasn't a good game. I guess it would be if you like Dekalb, but far as a quality football game I thought last week against Hooks was a better showing for NB, hope they ain't going backwards! This stuff has got to change in NB or it don't matter who they bring in NB will always be down! Offense was horrible tonight and Defense wasn't put in good situations to really go make a play. IMO NB on defense is okay but that Offense is horrible. Soon as the runningback has the ball all he is, is a hitting dummy for the defense! Poor kid. Hopefully it changes but having to go to DF next week I doubt anything changes but more misery and heart break for Lion faithful!!

RIVARLY WEEK!! Who ya got and why? NB had some positives I expect a lot more polished Offense with a whole week of prep with the new QB (hopefully).... will be interesting to say the least!!

HS Transfers will count toward Snapshot day... that is where a student withdrew from a school and enrolled in another.... if s school is just relocating those students will count toward Kingwood or whatever the school is that is hosting for that semester or year....

The NB Jv didnt look great but wasn't horrible! Hooks just was bad. Hope tomorrow night is a good clean injury free game!
