Blaine won his regional tournament @ Piney Woods in Nacogdoches with a score of 74-77. He also won the Class A state championship as a sophomore with a score of 143 (state record) @ Morris Williams. Blaine's golf future appeared bright until he developed back pain that resulted in him having to quit golf last summer. He had back surgery in November of '06 & started playing again in March. It's a blessing that he's able to play @ all, hopefully he'll continue to play well @ state.

Texas High normally plays in the early tournament @ Jacksonville & the tournament @ Shallow Creek in March. You guys from Grace & Edgewood should try to get into those tournaments to see how you stack up.

Shouldn't lose a tournament until regional, could go to state Best Player.. Tie between Zack Fischer & Ryan Sirman
