  1. I have heard the same but we dont have board members with enough guts to even talk to Frye much less go out and find the truth, they find a few people that make accusations and then accept that as truth, glad they aren't judges!!!!!!!!!!!As I have said ,Frye is still not perfect just tha same as some of our teachers with unacceptable failure rates. No ropes being thrown around their necks
  2. Coach Frye is more relaxed on dress and hair where Mr Ellis is very strict on both(not a bad thing ,just different).People are having trouble with Coach Frye having the say about how the athletic dept. is run,he doesnt have to answer to anyone but the board and Mr Stewart, unfortunately Mr Stewart isnt as assertive with his powers to help smooth the waters, plus we have some current coaches that are not quite as on board with Fryes ideas and they tend to run their mouths when they shouldn't.Frye is in CHARGE of athletics and it will take some time for folks to get used to it.
  3. what have the athletes done that would reflect on the AD' s lack of discipline??????????????????????????????????????
  4. you guys are missing the point! Our old AD was not an adminstrator, the board decided to make the new AD an administrator(before they hired one).Frye does not have to run evrything through the same channels that Coach Phillips had to,therefore the control that was , is no longer.Frye does not have to conform the way Coach Phillips did to others. Now if a parent has a problem, they cant run to the principal to make a change.Frye is responsible for the athletic program and he is running it the way that he sees fit, others dont always agree but they arent in charge. Our school has fantastic discipline and Mr. Ellis 2nd to none,it is just taking time to adjust to a different(not bad) way of approaching the athletic side.Things are OK just got to smooth out a few bumps:D
  5. A/G will only lose 2 SRS. and they have some good prospects as freshman, should make a better showing
  6. The tension that arrives is because we have a supt. that will not put his foot down and instruct folks on both sides of this POWER STRUGGLE to chill out ,then the situation builds. When the principal(who is the best principal in the area) tells the faculty to support all the banquets the next week, even if they can't afford to eat at them(the athletic banquet charged $10 a plate )then that would cause some tension and is uncalled for. Both men are good men and I wouldnt trade either, but there needs to be some middle ground
  7. some folks are having trouble letting Coach Frye run his athletic program. They have concerns or questions and they ask,and gripe to evryone else but him. Some have trouble letting go of the power ,and they want to try to keep him under their finger. Some need to clean their own hous before they start looking at his.
  8. Say what you will about AG.We have a school that is under control without alot of hippy and thug kids(thanks Mr Ellis),and we have an athletic that is making a positive turn(a few bumps)(thanks Coach FRye) so perennial power or not we have alot more going for us than a bunch of other schools in the area.PS Athletics are important ,but how will most of our kids make their living?
  9. Ryan young from AG is pretty fast,I think he ran in low 10's .All around a good athlete
  10. A/G is losing only 2 srs. and if our pitcher doesnt graduate early we will have a sr pitcher back, plus we have a good number of fish coming in so a JV is not out of the question;)
  11. Frye needs to stay right where he is at, some folks may not see eye to eye with him but thats ok , we dont all have to agree. He has a good plan and I think the kids are buying into the program. He has done a good job for our kids and I feel we are lucky to have him.
  12. do we not have pitching coaches to develop talents, woulndt that be considered a trainer? If the kid has ability and wants to put in the effort then it our responsibility to help (if we can afford it).
  13. alba-golden/Hawkins-Bottom of 7 -H7 AG5 .runner on 2&3 / 1out. Called for lightning
