Does anyone have the answer to the original question. Has there ever been (2) #1 ranked teams in different classifaction playing each other.

Ttowneagle Sorry I forgot that Tatum was the SLC of East Texas I just threw that in there because I know that the schools split the gate that was not the focus of this post . The question was about (2) #1 teams in different classification playing each other before. Myself along with many other high school football fans in the state of Texas would like to see the game but as of now with it being played on a Friday night and other games going on we will not be able to. I think billdogbacker has the best idea.

With the Gilmer, Tatum game coming up I was wondering if there has ever been another time when the #1 ranked team from one class played another #1 ranked team from another class. Also why wouldn't Tatum & Gilmer try and play this game on a Saturday so that more people could attend this would only mean more money for each school right ? Maybe even try and play in a bigger stadium like Tyler's Rose Stadium.

Very very strong arm, has a nice touch on the ball, looked to be about 6'4" 180-190. I think that he could be a nice addition to the EF attack. They also had a couple of new faces on defense one played an inside backer position or rover was really quick and covered well he looked to be about 5'9" 175-180 and was very aggressive. He should be fun to watch when the pads are strapped on. The other on def was a smaller guy only saw him once so I couldn't tell that much about him. The com-ming season at EF will be very interesting. GO JACKETS

pigskin pro & got 2 score Unless you have some inside information I would not make comments against a coaching staff that U both know nothing about. I know these men personally and have nothing but the up most respect for them they had a young group of men last year but I can assure U both with the end of school bootcamps and off season work out things will defiently be different. Other schools would be lucky to have a group of leaders like the EF coaches. This just goes to show how much people who think they know everything really know nothing at all and yes the comment is directed directly at you 2.

Tatum Tatum Tatum lets give a little respect to some other teams in the district. I dont think that you all realize the talent that is in 19aa.
