I'll say this.... I'm not accusing anyone.... All I'm saying is, why are we going after Brook Hill, when every year there are other big name schools who have impact move-ins? Brook Hill hasn't won championships, but other schools have.... I could care less, I just want to watch the games....

Guys, the talent is there, but something else isn't happening.... I'm a Buck Showalter fan, but he may not be the guy for this team....

Regardless of whether or not a coach or a parent did it, it doesn't just happen at Brook Hill, let's be honest, it goes on all over the state.... Not at EVERY school, but I'd say at quite a few there are coaches and parents who try and influence good players to move to their districts.... Southlake Carroll???

The point of a scrimmage guys is not to go out there and beat up on the opponent.... The point of a scrimmage in my opinion is to practice doing what you're going to do during the regular season, get reps in, and play against someone other than your scout team.... I think that in the long run all that matters to head coaches are how their players exectured their game plan....

I don't have anything against anyone in this district, but if you look at it objectively and not through the world of "fandom" it should shake out like this: 1. Tatum 2. Arp 3. Garrison 4. Troup 5. Elysian Fields 6. Timpson 7. Waskom 8. West Rusk

Here is my take on 23-AA 1. Newton- No doubt class of the district 2. Woodville- Supposedly have quite a squad down there in Tyler County, not getting alot of attention. 3. San Augustine- Always tough. Could finish 2nd, could finish 5th. 4. Hemphill- See Number 3. 5. Corrigan-Camden- See Number 4. 6. Shelbyville- Coach Upshaw will turn this program around, but probably not until 2007.
