  5. Yeah i AGREE WITH THIS!!! but I don't think they would publish stuff if they didn't have a pretty good grasp of what they were doing, these guys have good sources.
  6. no doubt, But I am sure they have pretty good sources......they are usually pretty consistent
  7. He said on twitter that total of 18 schools opt up in 5a from D1 to D2 causing that D1-D2 break to sky rocket

  11. 13. Uil athletic director said sometime at thanksgiving
  14. The guru Matt Stepp who is great at what he does gives a update on 6a Starting to look like that 6A/5A cut line could be 2180-2190 range...still a few #s pending #txhsfb @dctf
  15. Update from Padilla: My 6A Re-Alignment highlights. 15 up from 5A, 4 new schools, 2 opting up. 252 schools in 6A! #txhsfb @glere53 @ProfessorDiggs @PigskinPrep 6A 2180+ 252 teams 5A 1135-2179 257 teams D-I 1791-2179 128 teams D-II 1135-1790 129 teams #txhsfb @glere53 @ProfessorDiggs @SHSBulldog00
  16. 4A D1 has 94 teams. Divided by 16 districts, that equals 5.8 teams per district. 4A D2 has 91 teams. Divided by 16 districts, that equals 5.7 teams per district. When 5A splits, it can be assumed that they will try to divide the 253 5A teams in half. Thus, making 5A D1 around 125 teams and 5A D2 around 125 teams. Each district in both divisions will average 7.8 teams. I don’t think they will allow this to happen again. If anything, it makes sense to reduce the number of 5A teams and increase the number of 4A teams. If done right. 4A and 5A districts could average around 7 teams per district.
  17. matt do you think your estimated cut off numbers are going to stay the same
  18. Matt, Will you be doing a updated prediction once you get all the snap shot numbers in??
  19. come on matt lol, 1124, that means lumberton would miss it by one
