That Kennedale power run game is something special. It even gave mighty WOS fits. I believe they give M Heritage plenty of fits. I know M Heritage has had a great season too. But Kennedale wins

I like everything about West Rusk this yr. A good offense and a dominating defense. But after looking at Newton's schedule and that preseason schedule, it's hard to bet against them. I think the Newton offense makes enough plays to get by the guys from New London

My overall view of the game. I really thought we should have thrown at least 40 times. They were man across from the 1st snap. Got arguably the best reiciever in east tx one on one from the 1st snap. We seem to only throw on obvious passing downs after they've stifled the run time after time. QB threw for 332 but could have easily put up over 100 more. I thought after seeing the running game almost non existent in the 1st half, that we would go 5 wide and pick them apart. We came out doing the exact same thing. Don't get me wrong, 39 pts is nothing to cry about but we had several 3 and outs. Defense tried their best but those big ole o-linemen had thier hard hats on. That Whitesboro run game absolutely punished us relentlessly. I believe their playbook consisted of about 5 plays. Toss right, toss left, power right, power left and that sneaky bootleg after they put u to sleep with the run. We had a good season and still will have a powerful offense yet again returning. Jefferson fans came out to support. You'd swear it was for the state championship. Luckily we were on the home side. Would have been alot of ticked off Jeffersonians standing on the visitors side.
