With a 7:00 start time why would you wears Black game Helmets if you have the option of white. A black Helmet have been shown to be up to 30 degrees warmer then a white helmet I know the sun wont be up for long but even 20 or 30 minutes of time in those helmets not including warm ups is still a lot of unnecessary heat . (Argyle is wearing black helmets)

This game is going to come down to the Defenses, both team will be able to score. Will La Vega be able to get pressure on the QB and will Argyle be able to stop the run. LV has tons of speed at the DE position, will the line of Argyle be able to keep them off of the QB? If they can it will be a long night for the LV secondary covering the talented Argyle receivers. The size of the Offense line of LV will be an issue for the defense of Argyle that has struggled against the run so far this year. As good as both of these teams are its only week 2 both teams have a lot of growing to do before the playoffs.

Kinne played every snap at Media Valley. If I had to guess he hit about 60% (Under 15 attempts) for about 100 yards he threw a couple of those away.

Only thing that matters is winning that game in late December.

Lorena vs China Spring should be a good game. 7:30 in China Spring. Lorena is ranked #8 in DII, Both teams will be trying to reload after losing a number starters from last years teams.

I agree 100%, If Paris can keep form shooting themselves in the foot they will be a team to contend with. Paris is better then most people think. Paris 30 PG 24. I believe the divide between 4A DI and 4A DII is a little wider this year, especially when it come to the top ten teams in both divisions.

I know we made 3 mistake on defense and Paris put it in the end zone all 3 times. Paris is going to give teams fits this year, a talented team with loads of speed.

Paris was the most athletic team LV played in the playoffs last year.

La Vega #1 4a DI vs Connally #6 4a DII, LV first offense played 5 plays scored twice through the air on a 67 and 56 yard TD passes. First defense gave up on TD through the air, and played very good run Defense against a very good rushing team.

You are correct there is lots of football to still to be played. LV will likely have to face Paris and Argyle in the playoffs, the road back to Jerry world will not be easy.

I guess you could also ask Heritage what team speed and talent can do to a team, shoot just ask Liberty Hill.

All this talk about speed, makes me laugh.

IMO offense is better and more versatile then last years. Defensively LV is going to be good really good, they have some room to grow but that can be said for all teams at this time of the year.

They were split 50/50 both QB's looked good for preseason.

La Vega won the live quarter 2-0 15:00 running clock, Kennedale didn't get a first down in the live quarter, and they only scored once in the scrimmage against LVs 2's and 3's
