It was last week.   Fred wasn’t as good as LCM and go sure not as good as Kilgore.  They had no speed anywhere on the field.   I think Kilgore is almost as good as LBJ, maybe even better.

Maybe so but to me only way I could tell if Kilgore ever played LBJ or played against opponents like La Vega or Liberty Hill, then I could see more clearly if Kilgore is better this year than LBJ, Chapel Hill very clearly has the speed to beat LBJ but I hadn't seen much of LBJ defense to know but it still anybodys game just who wants it the most and less penalities. The wins over La Vega and Liberty Hill plus LBJ has a underfeated record let me know that LBJ is no slouch, and the real deal but anything can happen and pulling for Chapel Hill.

  2. I want Chill to go all the way but I looked at that LBJ last playoff game and they look very tough and  has speed as Chill so really it can be a close one but teams like La Vega and Liberty Hill compared to Greenville and other non district that Chill played comparison, to me this game can be alot tougher than some thinks, come on Chill get past this one and to other.

LBJ is bigger, faster, and by record better than CH.

That being said, CH can play with any team in the state if they don’t beat themselves.  Fumbles, penalties, awareness of where you are on the field.  Continue to improve on those things.

I didn't know nothing about LBJ but I juss look at there record and they are underfeated and they beat La Vega that to me seems like a team to worry about and study them well, hope Chapel Hills coaches do there home work, put 90 points on Lampasas, beat Liberty Hill also they do have good wins on the resume, the La Vega and Liberty Hill game I'm wondering if La Vega was La Vega of years back and same for Liberty Hill.

Pretty sure they’ll be in the mix.  Whether we happen up against CH again is something else.  CH should be getting better every year for the next 3 years.  Better Vidor faces them in 22 than 23 or 24, lol.

Nice analyst, next year we see what happens, I think in 2010 El Campo had a great team that faced Henderson but Henderson defeated them in 2010 I went to that game and El Campo had a RB that was really strong and big but I can't remember he's name but the Rice Bird were very tough in 2010, no it maybe wasn't in 2010 when Rice Bird faced Henderson but It was one of those years trying look to look up he name the RB from El Campo that year but can't, I see The Rice Birds had some pretty good seasons tho in past.

Thanks for the explanation.  Glad it was just a misunderstanding.  I’m still in a moderate amount of denial over the untimely events that, at the very least, didn’t help the Pirates.  The injuries - they happen, but the HC having to go to the Hospital?   Dang!!!  I’d rather we’d just got a good, old fashion, tail whipping.

Seems like everything went wrong in that game but it happens hope to see Vidor again maybe next year.

What I’ve always wondered, if a team without a lot of speed, like Vidor this year, can be successful with the Slot T, why doesn’t a team with speed, like El Campo use it?  And why wouldn’t they be even more successful?  Basically El Campo was pitch wide right or wide left.  If they ran all the misdirection Vidor does, and with their speed, it’d seem they’d be unstoppable.  I can’t quite get my mind around it.  Can you explain it to me?

I agree, they are tough what they run but if ran same as Vidor with El Campos speed and strength, I can see the Rice Birds being devastating with the Slot T.

Sounds like the LCM coach has watched a little film.

What impress me with Chapel Hill is there speed of course and the freshman QB and RB and how good they were at JV and years undefeated team now develop so quickly to varsity, all that is what impress me, LCM QB is very good as well and has a great defense so all this sets up a good game, still picking the dogs tho in a close one.

Who knows. The game plan might change up this week.  CH has some WRs that are deadly with the ball in their hands.

That I was going to say, but didnt won't to spoil it lol they have more fast players besides the QB and RB, if tea on the RB the QB to watch plus some explosive receivers also, hard to double team all of them juss saying, Chill Defense has to keep doing the stops cause Chill Offense is there.

The difference in the game against Kilgore was coaching. Y’all coach had a great plan and stayed with it. He put those defensive tackles in both A gaps and the defensive end played a three tec. Y’all stop the run and made us do something we are not use to doing and that’s throwing the ball. We did not mike any adjustments on defense. Start out in a 4-3 first quarter and was up 17-0. For some reason we went to a 3-4 and y’all ran it down our throat like every team we have played did when we went to a 3-4 defense. You got to have great linebackers to play a 3-4 and ours was not built for that. I said it at the beginning of the week if we played a 3-4 y’all running back and quarterback would make us pay. We did not make yall QB throw enough. When he did throw he was not on. He will be a great QB next year once he get his foot work down. Y’all running back will also be great next year. Good luck and I really enjoyed that game. Yall team have a great future.

True and that game could of went either way, and  I'm not from Chapel Hill, from Henderson, I DNT know the future for Henderson but Chapel Hill has a great future with there coach and Freshman QB and RB, Kilgore should be good again next year and I do see Kilgore and Chill battle it out again, maybe Lindale would be in the mix as well.

So basically the Qb and rb run the ball mainly and they  throw it under 15 times ?

The team seems to play better when they in the game,LCM looks very good as well, it should be a good game, Im thinking which team wins this game will end up in State, I think both teams would beat LBJ, the state will be hard, Stevenville and Melissa battling it out and both teams beat Argyle, Melissa beat them in the season/ maybe district and Stevenville eliminate Aryle in the playoffs.

LCM and WOS is in the same city limits. It’s strange a small town has two teams 4 rounds deep in the playoffs. LCM beat Palestine in the bi district and Palestine beat CH. I hear CH had some issues earlier in the year. El Campo offense was averaging 53 points a game LCM held them to 21. LCM defense is allowing 19 points a game. I think it’s going to be a good ball game. Our Qb is banged up but he should be starting. The back up Qb has the better arm imo so you might see us throw more if he is back there.

Yes, but that's when Chapel Hill didn't bring there Freshman QB nor the Freshman RB, i say if the Freshman QB and RB were in there early I think they maybe would of won District, I think they started in the Henderson game and all the way thru now, its a different Chapel Hill team since the Freshman QB and RB duel, it seems to bring the whole team to gel, they gel at right time.

EL campo had 2 D1 running backs and they don’t look fast on tape but I promise owens is extremely fast.  WOS had plenty of speed and we played them in the 2nd week of the season. Jasper was the best defense we faced they held us to 13 points that game.

Yea I forgot y'all plays West Orange Starke it's in the same area, I lived in West Orange few years back and I ran into the town LCM, I wasn't familiar with Orange but I remember living up there last year and the year before, I like it in Orange and wants to move back later but the only thing I don't like it about up there it floods, and when it rains it's bad, other than that I love up there, close to Shreveport Louisiana, Lake Charles about 8 miles from Orange and I enjoyed going to boats and Casino every week lol I stayed on the slot machines.

  13. I dnt know of either team had faced any speed compared to one another, don't think LCM seen speed like Chill, El Campo looks like they had speed but not as much as Chill, Chill to me looks faster, it just El Campo was mostly one deminional and the backs from El Campo looks more power runners, they had speed but to me El Campo had tough RBs, to me Chill backs are faster than El Campos backs but El Campos backs were stronger runners, looks bigger.

  14. I'm watching LCM Vs El Campo and LCM looks the part, to me they look tougher than Vider, but did Vider beat LCM and are they in same district, Chapel Hill looks like they has to play all 4 quarters, Chill has alot of speed as well so it's going to be a good game,I'm rooting for District 9 the D.O.D. to win it and hope Chill do it for there team, town, and for District 9 D.O.D. let's good Chapel Hill!!! I knew this Chapel Hill team were special and hope they make it to State and winning it all, good luck.

Great game CH, Kilgore once again goes down because of a 1 dimensional offense . Sure was hoping this new coach would have more than that to bring to the table .Last year was the first year kilgore started opening up the offense and they looked really good . Hire a new coach and we just stepped back 10 years and tried to rely on 1 guy ( although  he was a beast ) to carry the load .Very discouraging for the players and the fans .Sure would like to see something different in the years to come other than ground and pound especially when your offensive line is one of the smallest we have had in years .

Kilgore has, had a great team and I watch the game with Chill, Kilgore didn't look one dimensional to me but two over times it was a good close game, just Chill pulled it off, that game it could easy went either way.

He came in at halftime of the Palestine game. Almost brought ch back from a 20 point deficit in that game. Losing 30-27

went on to lose to Kilgore but beat Mabank and Henderson to clinch playoffs. Kid is growing up game by game! Getting better every game and it’s scary how good he can be.

Yea man I agree and doing good things at a Freshman and that talented yea I think it be a tough game this go route vs Kilgore, watch The Freshman QB from Chill show Out, really believe it will be a different game.

Good W . Chill not bad for a 4th place team.

Chill coaches are good coaches they got the freshman QB and freshman RB that was underfeated few years back and they a complete different team, I think the freshman QB and RB as started from the Henderson game, and I believe this Chill team could take care of Kilgore.
