Heard from someone that is close to the Texas High program that they can't find any non conference games .They had Anna lined up but they backed out and the Frisco teams said they didn't want to drive to Texarkana when they can play plenty of teams in their area. They are calling other states to try to find some games. Any TH fans got any more on there Non conference schedule?

Talking to one of LE coaches he said they have no lineman that will be their problem.

We played up in Division this year. Marshall plays Longview every year and 95% of the time you know how it will go. This would be MUCH more even. I don't get the argument that Texas High has nothing to gain and everything to lose. Games are getting harder & harder to find. Both teams point at the other and say they won't play us. Just make it happen already. It is PRESEASON games. It isn't going to ruin anybody's season.
I don't think PG would have a chance against TH. PG loses alot and TH has everyone back. They would get hammered by TH.

PG fans take notes how a real program handled a loss with CLASS! No excuses not blaming the officials. Good Luck Gilmer the rest of the way.

I think the 8th grade teams split and PG 7th won both. Again, you don't know who is going to come and go each year. Not convinced it is going to work out at T High like some of those guys think.

Folks have been saying PG would be average after 17 18 19 etc classes graduated. They have some young talent in the lower grades and with the facilities that are coming as well as open district...PG will be just fine. Some people put way too much into this year's team. They were a really good team, but not the best team to come through PG.
After them years that is when all these guys moved in! I heard LE beat them in the lower grades so they won't have a team like this year. I just don't see them getting the transfers like they are now because DK is getting them for Texas High after a run in with Head Coach at PG.

Too much pride them PG folks will never do that! That parent is one of the main ones complaining about the game. I told him he needs to sign up to referee. PG will be back to average pretty quickly because they are not getting all the move ins because Gibson got into with the guy that steered them to PG! Now all the young talent is going to Texas High and we all know they can't win with just PG kids. They put everything in the basket for this year to win it all but it didn't work out! Thanks Carthage

I know for a fact he tried to recruit the AHS kid a couple of years ago and the UIL called him on it! I can't wait to see Carthage give them a beat down. PG had trouble with Brock . Carthage is a different animal.

I know one of the players no names he transferred in but they wouldn't let his sister in but he plays for PG and she goes to TH. She doesn't play any sports so take it for it is worth.

If I remember correctly, I thought SH was a locked district. Nobody in Texarkana is locked anymore and if it is then PG but sounds like they accept transfers. If you want the numbers up, unlock the district and build apartments.
PG will accept them if they are athletes.

PG closes the district to transfers when certain enrollment numbers exceed capacity. It all depends on the grade level. Plus, if you are a disciplinary problem and cannot pass the state mandated tests, you are not getting in the school. PG is not taking another school district’s problem when they do not have too.
If they can 4.6 in the forty they will take them in a minute I know!

PG will never be as good as they were the last couple of years! They lost that recruiting class they are gone.
