New Boston pitcher looked really good and they hit the ball really well. Coach Miller seems to have them going in right direction for another championship run. T-high looked good in spots in both scrimmages coming back to tie the QC scrimmage. Can't say much bout QC.

OK we've heard how 18-2A will dominate 17-2A but what coach in those districts get the most out of their players? Not best overall coach just who does the best job with what they have?

Well its softball seaon and the weather has made its appearance. Looks like the weather will keep us indoors for a while.

Queen City does have some athletes. Tumblin, Tyson, Johnson, Davis are definitely athletes. District year before included New Boston and Paul Pewitt, replaced by Jefferson and Ore City. QC was 4-6 year before lost a pretty good qb in Mike Federick but had many coming back. Should have definitely won a few this year.

What's the problem over at QC thought they had athletes to compete in this district?

Is the LE game on radio or internet if so what site?

Saw that the Head Softball position at Pittsburg High School is open, anyone have any info on what kind of program they have had? Starters returning, how they did this past 08 season?

Gary Miller at New Boston deserves consideration, his teams over the past several years have always been top notch and this years team has been exceptional.

How do you view this series? Ought to be very evenly matched.

Congrats to Rivercrest in their 6-4 softball victory over Grand Saline. Congrats to Coach Stansell and Coach Sears you had your team ready, lots of spirit and they played great. Pitcher did a great job getting out of trouble and kept Grand Saline hitters off balance. Timely hitting and bunting proved demise for Grand Saline. Good luck against New Boston.

Are there going to be any jobs open with Coach Bowman taking over?

Are they interviewing candidates, what is timeline?

Heard big changes going on at QC, new coach has brought in several new faces and others are leaving. How's the transition?

Is Joey Drennon a done deal, heard the board would have a say, heard there were 2 names in consideration.

Looks like MP will have its hands full, tough district.
