Jones had a great game, he killed us with the read option and great decision making. MV was overmatched but never quit. Proud of the resilience of this team. Went from losing to Sabine and Mineola early in the year, and turned into a quality playoff team. We will be back

MV is getting better and peaking at the right time. That being said, Koff seems to be a different animal. Hoping we can keep it close and at least scare them a bit.

MV came out and played great in the second half. Gladewater had several opportunities and drives that stalled or turned the ball over in the red zone. Game felt a lot closer than the score for most the game. #21 for GW is a heck of player.

D5 with another strong showing! It’ll be interesting to see how these districts shake up next year. There have been some fun games/matchups between these two districts the last several years

I’ll take MV by 7. A lot of young kids on the field so it will probably be a slow start for both teams. MV defense has had some personnel changes and is much better than our defense in week 2. Finally playing a few kids both ways that have helped tremendously.

Man, I thought y’all would for sure be a playoff team after seeing Sabine this year. We were a mess in the beginning, but doesn’t take away from yalls win at all. Was Sparks injured during district, or what happened?

Surely the game plan will be load up and stop McBride and make the QB beat us. And with adding some athletes to the secondary I like our chances in man to man vs their receivers

Man I wish we could get another chance at Mineola. Offense has improved a lot the last two weeks with some consistency, and defense has been 10x better since playing a couple key players both ways. I think we will give Potts a run for their money

Moving a couple kids both ways have helped the defense tremendously. Offense has looked the best it has all year too. QB settled in and timing was much better. I think we can give Pottsboro a game

Hopefully MV makes it a game. Would like to think we see an inspired effort

I think it’ll be #9. I hope we find some creative ways to get #2 the ball in his hands. He’s a game changer I would like to see #23 pushed back to DE and play a couple kids both ways and see how it looks. MV will have to play its absolute best to win, but I’ve seen weirder things happen in this rivalry. I wouldn’t rule us out

Fair enough. I still think Sabine beats Tatum this year. Their QB is a gamer and makes things happen. MV is coming back to earth but still is a playoff team and will be a fun matchup to whoever they draw from D6

Lol yep. We did, wouldn’t be surprised if y’all do too. Sabine is solid, and we are happy to make the playoffs and make some noise this year. We are young and inexperienced

No reason to change up what’s working! Hoping we can force y’all into more passing situations. From what I’ve seen, our corners play pretty soft coverage. Seems to be bend but don’t break approach

I’m excited to see how our defense does vs a spread team with a good dual threat QB. Should be the closest thing we see to Finney and Winnsboro.
