Before the lightning delay it was MV 36-0 over Pewitt. 3 fourth quarter touchdowns on the 2’s made the score a lot closer than what it was. It’s safe to say we aren’t very deep this year. That said, I’m expecting a good game. Hoping MV ruins homecoming

Great win tonight! Loved seeing the offense put together long drives and end them in points. GW played a good game too. I think MV and GW will both continue to get better and better as the year goes on and these young kids get more reps. Both teams look like playoff teams to me

GW is a lot better than people think. It’s weird people just assuming they’re bad. Getting picked last in district is insane, especially a district that has white oak in it

I only got to watch about a quarter and saw him throw several deep balls. He definitely has a good arm and connected on a few. Receiver on the outside made some contested catches too. Wasn’t bashing QB at all, the only route I saw him throw and receiver run was go routes and they legit make me nervous. Wasn’t being sarcastic

Yall’s throw it deep and pray passing attack makes me a little nervous. We are pretty inexperienced at corner and GW will definitely have the speed advantage outside

I saw a bit of GW/DF game on the live stream. GW seems much improved from last year, and MV still figuring a lot of things out. It’ll be close

Yep, that game last year was rough. Lost QB and a couple other starters for the season. Weren’t ever the same after that

Winnsboro rolls. PP should be fine in division 2, but this is a tough matchup for them week 1. I agree with @chevyman, depth will be a big factor in this game and I doubt PP is conditioned for a full game both sides of the ball week 1.

It sounds like he will be the starter. Although, coaches son and 2 other QBs got reps at scrimmage as well I believe. Worried about o-line a bit and depth in the trenches on both sides of the ball seem very thin. Skill positions will be solid.

I think West started 4 drives inside of our 20 yard line. I would be curious to see total yardage stats of the game because I wouldn’t be surprised if MV outgained West. MV threw a pick 6, had 2 punts that went 8 and 12 yards total. For some reason, we had a punter tonight who has never punter for us ever before. MV gave West short fields on every single drive

Well you can’t beat anyone playing as bad as MV did tonight. All of the self-inflicted mistakes were impossible to overcome.
